• Support the Project Manager, Superintendent or other management roles in the construction process throughout all phases of the life-cycle of a project to include estimating, negotiation, contracting, buyout, construction administration and closeout of individual projects and / or task order projects at large.
• Create, update and maintain a variety of project controls that track the status of: individual projects or task orders, changes to projects or task orders, RFI, shop drawings and submittal, matters involving quality controls, safety, financial performance, close-out and other aspects of the project(s) or task order(s).
• Work with subject matter experts to create, review and process shop drawings and other submittals that are required to document the construction process.
• Support the estimating process by performing quantity surveys utilizing digitizers, 3D modeling software and paper based processes that obtain and summarize scope and quantities of work.
• Establish, monitor, communicate and maintain project schedules utilizing contemporary scheduling software.
• Support the physical layout and a absolute understanding of the spatial relationships of the physical work: by developing control line drawings, by using CADD to obtain additional dimensioning information, by reviewing and coordinating shop drawings and other activities that allows the various elements of work to correctly fit together.
• Support the PM in negotiating contracts, subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Develop an understanding of how to maintain and require compliant with all contract terms and legal requirements that govern the project to prevent rework and delays.
• Participate in managing activities that are related to project closeout to ensure timely completion.
• Participate in weekly staff meetings and industry networking functions.
• Familiarize one’s self with the Project Manager or Superintendent Position
• Quantity Surveying.

• Working in tender and making schedule prices.
• Review the project contract drawings and specifications to ensure hands on the project scope.
• Ensure inspections to all works are carried out in accordance with the project documents and in timely manner.
• Monitoring all civil engineering aspects of the project to ensure compliance with project Drawings, Specifications and Standards.
• Working closely with Project Planning and Controls to establish and maintain the Schedule and Budget.
• Working closely with the other departments, such as HSE, Engineering and QA/QC, and Commercial to ensure delivery of works is in accordance with the drawings and specifications.
• Managing the interfacing with all pertinent parties with commissioning and start up activities.
• Monitoring progress, preparing progress reports.
• Review and monitor variations to the work to mitigate time and cost impacts for any required changes.
• Monitor materials used on the project and ensure that only approved materials are being used in the permanent works.
• Participate in the Coordination meetings, Progress meetings, QA/QC meetings and HSE meetings.
• Creating baseline, revised and recovery program, including all resources (Manpower -Material -cost).
• Preparing KIPs, look ahead, manpower, material and procurement schedules and tracking the submissions and approval weekly.
• Studying Tender and creating tender programmes.
• Preparing the time impact analysis for the delays occurred to the project (Extension of time).
• Submitting weekly and monthly progress report to Client, Consultant and head office.
• Highlight the critical issues that could delay the job to project team.
• Reviewing, monitoring and controlling subcontractors and suppliers programmes and procurement schedule.
• Developing and monitoring project cost forecasts
• Coordinating and regulating various meeting such as project progress review meetings.
• Monitoring cost and commitment through requisition and invoice review.
