I am a Senior Cost Engineer having more than 19 years work l experience (with Developer / Client, Consultant and Contractor’s organizations) of pre and post contract administration, managing and leading professional teams of diversified cultural background.
I am also trained Quantity Surveyor, Contract Administrator and Project Management professional. My strength includes in preparing/ formulating contract strategies, contract administration/ management, pre and post contract quantity surveying, tender documentation, construction documentations, specification writing, preparing bill of quantities, preparing contract agreement, estimation, value engineering, tendering etc, and quantity surveying.
In addition, I have gained experience in project feasibility study, project planning, scheduling construction activities, construction supervision, and project management.
Over the years, I have worked on medium and high rise residential and commercial buildings; infrastructure, reclamation works; hospital, hotel and resort construction; MEP; and all external works including hard and soft landscaping.
I have used FIDIC Red (construction) and Yellow (design and build) books and JCT with and without quantities conditions of contract including their adapted versions a number of times on projects involved in to date and I am aware of other standard conditions of contract which can be used when the need arises.
