1. Responsible for planning, development, and implementation of effective accounting strategies, policies, and procedures.
a. Actively support the Regional Financial Controller and regional executives in undertaking strategic reviews of the regional activities such as products, pricing, and changes in how the business is conducted.
b. Ensures that accounting plans, goals, and policies are consistent with established Company-wide goals.
c. Ensures that policies are in accordance with evolving regulations and legal requirements.
d. Supervises the development and implementation of financial information and control systems, including subsidiary ledgers, budgeting, cost allocation, and other subsystems.
2. Responsible for the effective preparation, maintenance, and reporting of internal and external financial records and analyses.
a. Oversees the preparation of daily, monthly, annual, and other periodic financial statements and reports. Ensures that external document submissions and filings are accurate and timely.
3. Support the Regional Financial Controller in financial planning process (annual budgets).
This includes:
Assists RFC, preparing the LTA (Long Term Agreement) and capital budget together with a detailed justification.
Rolling out the regional budgets to the sales depots within the region.
4. Responsible for overseeing daily operations and performing administrative functions for the Accounting department.
5. Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with Company personnel, departments, and management.
6. Effectively supervises Accounting personnel, ensuring optimal performance.
