Direct and manage all information technology needs for the business from preparing the IT plans, evaluating systems, to overseeing installation of the systems, to ensure cost effective IT support. Govern day-to-day operations of the regional IT to achieve timely, accurate, and uninterrupted delivery of IT services.
Accountable to coordinate with Head Office team and manage overall operation of the Information Technology applications, communications (voice and data), and computing services within the region. The role provides a vision of how technology is applied within the regional office. The key areas include developing technology roadmaps, governance over IT operations, vendor management, regulatory compliance and business relationship management.
The manager of IT Systems Operation is responsible for the daily running and management of support staff adherence to support related activities (i.e. resolution, investigation, follow-up and escalation). Ensure the effective and 24/7 support of all IT systems handed over to IT Operation. Ensure the effective management of Systems Upgrades, Products Setup for Testing & Production applications to ensure high performance and availability. Ensure the effective finalization of core business issues in partnership with different stakeholders and other system architects to provide viable business solutions with respect to the agreed plans. Ensure the maintenance of system specifications and documentations including Change Requests, Functional Specification, Test Scripts/Scenarios, Roll out Plan, user Manual as per requirement. Supervise end-to-end production deployment including UAT, before production rollout in partnership with planning and Quality Improvement area. Manage Implementation of new software products and existing software fixes/patches. Ensure the Implementation of Software Engineering Standards and project checklist. Manage participation of support staff in all implementation project from day one to acquire in-depth knowledge of the system being implemented.
Reporting to the IT Operations Head, Build and maintain Electronic Banking Services long/short term strategies with the help of team of six Staff.
• Responsible for the daily running and management of support staff adherence to support related activities (i.e. resolution, investigation, follow-up and escalation).
• Ensure the effective and 24/7 support/development of the ATM Switch/POS/Card management and other electronic channels operations.
• Ensure the effective management of Systems Upgrades, Products Setup for Testing & Production applications to ensure high performance and availability.

Reporting to the IT Development Head, aligning with the PMO representative in all business projects and managing internal IT strategy & initiatives with the help of one personnel.
• Executing and delivering projects within the assigned time & cost parameters including quality standards as per software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Coordinating with the Enterprise Software Development Manager in planning and ensuring optimum resource allocation as per project requirements.
• Involved in developing and maintaining an updated project plan in IT SharePoint portal.
• Managing the entire project documentations and modifying the existing applications & systems.
• Guiding the Business Analysts in managing their daily activities, resolving flagged issues and monitoring & updating project status to the senior management.
• Developing and maintaining relationship with the IT dept. and other Banking Groups (Operation, Retail, AML, Compliance, Audit, Islamic and Public Relations).
• Interfacing with the end-users on application change and executing ad-hoc assignments & initiatives.
• Involved in business process re-engineering, handling technical & automation projects to enhance the banking systems, processes, policies and procedures.
Reported to the Software Quality Assurance Manager, reviewed project documents and implemented methods & standards for using the Test Tool (used to automate the testing process).
• Improved the existing processes in the department and defined new processes
• Prepared & conducted test plans for various projects and application function including HRMS; SFA (Oracle based); AOC; Beam10 (Windows based); CCR (Web based); Saddad and SIMAH channels.
Worked in the Quality Assurance Unit (QAU) as a Systems Analyst and reported to the Quality Assurance Unit Manager.
• Reviewed all project documentations (test plans and developing plans) and controlled activities in the entire project development life cycle.
• Provided different project related statistics as per standards, policies and procedures.
• Improved processes to ensure process enhancement and optimization in CMMi
• Preparing release of the projects through the various stages of the quality management
• Facilitated in acquiring ISO 9001:2000 Certification for the Quality Assurance Unit.
Major interest in Industrial Engineering (I.E.) with a cumulative GPA 2.536 and Major GPA 2.808 on 4.0 scale.
