1. Clinically examine patients and evaluate their dental problems. Arrive to a diagnosis and formulate a treatment plan keeping their medical history in consideration.

3. Perform surgical endodontic treatment on patients requiring surgical intervention - (Periapical surgeries, hemisections, bicupsidization and graft surgeries.)

4. Carry out preventive and restorative procedures like Diet Counseling, Fluoride application, Pit & fissure sealants, restoration of carious teeth, bleaching of vital and non-vital teeth and Ceramic & Composite veneers

5. Treatment of traumatic injuries to the permanent teeth and perform complex treatment like, single step apexification, intentional reimplantation, splinting, extra-oral RCT followed by reimplantation.

6. Supervise the clinic nurse regarding data entry and sterilization of instruments.

7. Maintaining the patients records and data base of clinic

8. Received training to use Erbium Chromium Laser for General and Specialty dentistry

a) Academic Duties:

1. Take Operative Dentistry & Endodontic lectures for the undergraduate 2nd & 4th Year BDS students
2. Take clinical discussions, demonstrations for students in the Undergraduate clinics
3. Responsible for the Conservative Dentistry Pre-Clinical Lab (2nd Year BDS) where I train the students on dental manikins and plastic teeth
4. Take seminars and attend various continuing dental programs
5. Responsible for the academic development of the dept. and also actively publish articles in national and international journals.

b) Clinical Duties:

9. Post endodontic restorations viz. Post & Core - both pre-fabricated and custom made posts
10. Carry out aesthetic procedures like bleaching of vital and non-vital teeth, Ceramic & Composite veneers, All ceramic crowns, composite & ceramic inlays
11. Treat all traumatic injuries to the permanent teeth and perform complex treatment like, single step apexification, intentional reimplantation, splinting, extra-oral RCT followed by replantation. Also treat avulsed teeth.
12. Carry out full mouth rehabilitation in patients with compromised dentition. Assist them with bite raising splints, single visit endodontic treatment followed by crowns.

1. Perform single visit and multi visit Endodontic treatment with Rotary Systems in adult teeth
2. Perform Surgical Endodontic procedures viz. Periapical Surgeries
3. Perform root canal treatment in pediatric patients
4. Aesthetic rehabilitation procedures like Smile designing, all ceramic laminates and crowns.
5. In-Office bleaching, post & core procedures and composite aesthetic procedures viz. Diastema closure and veneers.

Received intensive clinical training under close supervision of eminent academicians and endodontists at the multidisciplinary Postgraduate Center, Ragas Dental College & Hospital, Chennai, India. Didactic courses covered biological sciences and a wide range of clinical topics related to Operative Dentistry & Endodontics. Experiences in teaching of undergraduate students and research were integrated into the program.

General Dental Surgeon

Performed the following duties:
1. Identification & diagnosis of dental problems and formulating comprehensive treatment plans based on patient needs.
2. Undertaking Periodontal procedures viz. Oral prophylaxis & polishing, Sub-Gingival scaling and Root Planing. Performing procedures like Gingival Curettage & Crown lengthening (Surgical technique).
3. Carrying out Restorative procedures viz. Silver amalgam, GIC and Composite restorations in adult and pediatric patients. Endodontic therapy (Root canal treatment) in single & multi-rooted teeth in adult patients. Also did composite veneers and simple esthetic indirect restorations.
4. Performed surgical extractions under local anesthesia. Carried out surgical removal of impacted wisdom teeth
5. Prosthodontic Procedures: Did tooth preparations for metal and ceramic crowns. Also made impressions and designed partial dentures (acrylic only). Carried out rehabilitation of fully edentulous jaws by full dentures.
