• Plan and monitor daily production operations including
material availability, fabrication progress, welding fit-up, and
welding activities.
• Carry out material follow-up from raw material receipt through
cutting, fit-up, welding, and final dispatch stages.
• Supervise welding fit-up activities ensuring joint preparation,
alignment, root gap, and bevel angles as per drawings and
WPS.
• Monitor welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, SAW as
applicable) in compliance with approved WPS, PQR, and
project specifications.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for stage inspections including fit-up
inspection, welding visual inspection, dimensional checks, and
NDT clearance.
• Track welder performance, welding consumables usage, and
welding parameters to ensure quality output.
• Coordinate with production, planning, and logistics teams to
align fabrication output with shipping schedules.
• Ensure fabrication activities such as cutting, grinding, surface
preparation, and painting are completed as per ITP.
• Oversee packing, preservation, and dispatch of fabricated
materials to prevent transit damage.
• Prepare and verify production and shipping documentation
using SAP ERP.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures during fabrication and
welding operations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance
production efficiency and reduce rework and delays.
