Sourcing for suppliers of clients’ requisitions, negotiating best prices, and arranging meetings with them for good furtherance of potential procurement deals. Preparing Local Purchase Orders on agreed Sales/ Purchase terms. Processing payments according to agreed payment terms (e.g. Cash on delivery, CDC, PDC, Letter of Credit etc.) Following up with suppliers on signed deals to ensure timely delivery of orders. Careful examination of deliveries to ensure full compliance with issued LPOs- checking specifications, units, color, grade, production year, life span and other necessary information about Auto Spare Parts orders (tires, batteries, lubricants, generators etc.) before delivery is taken and inventory is properly updated at the warehouse, and sales orders execution commence to local and international clients. Monthly report generation on procurement activities amidst other related procurement responsibilities.
