  Develop the Project schedule using P6 for each project, which is in line with the project requirements, for various gates starting from concept to close out which provides the schedule basis for estimation
 Development and review of the project planning process for all new and existing projects that are executed thro’ the OPD.
 Track progress of the projects based on the approved baseline schedule and forecast shortfalls if any to the PMT.
 Review the CTR and the detailed schedule of contractor for all the phases of EPC Project.
 Preparation of master schedule for the entire portfolio of operations departments and preparation of monthly progress status stewardship reports.
 Preparation of quarterly resource plan for the Operations department.
 Coordinate with the Operation Projects division and Shutdown groups regarding the shutdown requirements of Projects to be executed during Train Shutdowns.
 Prepare and review project specific and other procedures pertaining to Planning department.
 Develop the Shutdown project plan and review and coordinate all operation and Maintenance works for the Shutdown projects in the nominated Asset areas.
 Prepare and provide work order details, review work instructions and prepare execution pack for SD projects.
 Attend regular weekly and daily shutdown meetings right from the conceptual phase till the execution of shutdown.
 Follow up with all concerned on approvals and instructions, attend meetings and liaise with other departments on all issues of the project deliverables.

  Development of the project planning process and create the project schedule.
 Drafting of bid schedule & resources histogram, Review of schedule submitted in the bid and prepare detailed baseline schedule during design and construction stages for the project
 Create the initial network of activities in simplified form for project program in Primavera & maintain the critical path diagrams to ensure meeting of project milestones.

 Monitor the weekly & monthly progress and report the same to PMO in Germany .Preparation of commercial timesheets for reimbursable portion of the projects.
 Preparation of Cost estimate during pre-bid stage and control budget after award, for the projects.
 Coordination between Home office in Germany and Project office/site office in India to ensure all deliverables are prepared and delivered in time.
 Finalization of EPC contracts for all the clusters.
 Vendor development, vendor co-ordination for the equipment which were fabricated under Technology transfer from ETAG, Germany.
 Development and review of the project planning process and create a schedule, which is in line with the project requirements including establishing the sequence and duration of activities.
 Assistance in Finalization of work to be outsourced to sub-contractors, preparation of contracts including bid evaluation and terms of contract. Monitor the performance of the sub-contractor and effective contract management once the contract has been awarded.
 Assist Business Development department in getting statutory approvals from Government authorities.
 Participate in the preparation of all final documentation during the closure of the project.
 Conducting risk workshop and maintain risk register for Project.

 Participate in the development and review of the project planning process and create a schedule, which is in line with the project requirements including establishing the sequence and duration of activities.
 Prepare SOW and provide techno- commercial input for finalization of the EPC Subcontracts to the Contracts division.
 Review all contract documentation to assess feasibility of construction, identify any potential areas of difficulty and take note of any variations required in the construction.
 Generate TDR (Technical Document Register) as a level 4 schedule and ensure that all relevant data required for construction is contained in it. Monitor the issue of drawings as per the forecast dates mentioned in the TDR, identify any discrepancies and bring it to the attention of the Lead Engineer. Take corrective actions wherever required in the case of missing data from either the client or vendor.
 Review Engineering drawings, documents and deliverables relating to area of functional responsibility to assess constructability and consistency with contract requirements. Prepare and issue purchase requests for materials and consumables.
 Coordinate all project related activities with other departments and sections to ensure effective integration of tasks and minimize potential delays.
 Participate in the finalization of work to be outsourced to sub-contractors including bid evaluation and terms of contract. Monitor the performance of the sub-contractor once the contract has been awarded.
 Monitor the progress of the project as per the project plan and against the client’s requirements and take corrective action whenever required.
 Follow up with clients on approvals and instructions, attend client meetings and liaise with client on all issues of the project deliverables.
 Participate in the project activity report preparation and verify all data to ensure that it is accurate and accurately reflects the status of the project.

 Conduct site visits as required to ensure that the piping and equipment are correctly quantified and specified to meet the worksite restrictions/limitations as well as being fit for purpose.

 Maintaining of close contact with Client throughout the project to ensure satisfactory reaction to Client’s needs or criticisms.
