In 2014 the company decided to establish a local design office in Dubai. I was given the responsibility to manage this department. I hired and trained team members, developed a network of suppliers and sub-consultants, set standards and procedures for the design projects in the office and lead design teams as a senior designer. In less than two years we managed to increase the number of our team members from 5 to 20+ people including interior designers, 3d Visualizers, electrical and mechanical engineers etc. and completed several high-end Spa& Hospitality design and construction projects successfully for worldwide known Hospitality groups and developers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Managing the Design department
 As a senior designer managing the preparation of Facility Programs, Schematic Design, Design Development, Detailed Design, Construction Drawings &Documents and Presentations.(Experience in RIBA plan of work and CSI standards)
 Preparation of Specifications and Contract Documents.(Experienced in CSI standards)
 Client relations and establishing coordination with other Project Participants throughout the Project (Main Contractor, Sub-Contractors, sub-consultants, Suppliers etc.)
 Estimating, preparation of the Tender Documents and review Bids.
 Project Scheduling and Contract Administration.
 Development of Suppliers and consultants network.
 Site supervision

Schletterer is a worldwide known company covering the entire spa business, from project development and consulting, to architecture/design, realization, management of wellness hotels and health resorts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Projects Manager, I was responsible for planning and organizing the subcontractors, suppliers, sub-consultants and other resources required for the Interior Fit-out and Spa projects in the region and coordinate between the design and execution teams to ensure that work is being carried out as per the design standards. During these projects, I gain experience about local regulations, approval procedures and standards of the projects in the areas controlled by TRAKHEES.

As a Construction Manager for the client, I was responsible for the management of the interior fit-out works in Port Baku Tower VVIP Offices complex, consisting of offices, residential suites, a Ball Room, private spa and a fully equipped commercial kitchen. During this project in addition to the interior fit out works I have successfully completed several challenging tasks like alterations in the façade at 31st floor and structural extension of the elevator shafts where the building was occupied and running.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 As the Client representative, I was responsible for planning and organizing the subcontractors, suppliers and other resources required for the project and coordinate between the design and execution teams to ensure that work is being carried out as per the design documents, specifications.
 Responsible for control over site activities and resources to ensure timely completion of projects within the budgeted costs with good quality workmanship, develop a procurement and time schedule for each task and obtain project related regulatory permits as required
 Observing project progress for review of contractor applications for payment
 Reviewing and approving contract modifications
 Serving as the communication link between the A/E and the contractor.

As a project manager, I was responsible for the management of design and execution of Boutique Hotel projects of the AMG Works in Turkey, and Morocco.

As a department manager and senior designer I managed to establish and manage a design and construction team which successfully delivered several high end hospitality design projects and many Design &Build Spa Equipment projects consisting of Turkish Hammam, Moroccan Baths, Pools, Snow Rooms, Steam Rooms, Saunas, Ice fountains, adventure showers, Kneipp baths etc.
