IResearch and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale.
Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
IT Systems server administration and support;
Server & Desktop Virtualization Projects.
IT assets (hardware and software) inventory management, including the stock
IT Infrastructure (client and server side) project management;
Coordination of a System, network & Support team.
Generate Monthly/ Yearly Data Center reports.
Manage and maintain the IT Infrastructure Documentation.
Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions in Active Directory.
Perform Scripts for automation of system process with Active Directory.
Provide support per request from various constituencies. Investigate and troubleshoot issues.
Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary.
Manage & Configure E Mail accounts.
Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.
Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures.
Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning.
Supporting complete networking systems, Hardware, and applications .Coordinating with all dept and sections to solve all related issues.
As a Help Desk Officer and a senior Support Eng., I manage with my team all related assignments to be confirmed solved with best customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with third parties and contractors to ensure the service and project deadlines are to the date.
As a Support Engineer my Working environment is Win2003 server systems, Win XP clients.
Routine daily techs. :
Antivirus functionality, Internet connectivity, Network configuration, Peripherals and Drivers Installation
Maintaining the Network and hardware.
Manage the back up of the database.
