• Advise and guide all directorates on all contracts, procurement and legal related matters and ensure compliance with existing Federal and Local Laws and Regulations.

• Oversight of the contract management process and document management. Development of specific standards for issuing tenders to contractors and subcontractors.
• Communicate to stakeholders and report to senior management about all contract-related matters. Interacting with contractors, suppliers and clients as necessary.
• Draft, review and negotiate various types of contracts, agreements including but not limited to construction contracts, service contracts, blanket agreements, consultancy contracts, commercial contracts, employment contracts, joint ventures, memorandum of understanding (MOU's), non-disclosure agreements (NDA's), negotiating special licensing and subscription order forms regulatory matters, intellectual property, terms and amendments for clienteles located in the UAE, Europe and the Middle East.
• Drive contract lifecycle from drafting through completion of the negotiation process and contract execution until closure. Assessing, explaining, negotiating, managing and documenting contractual risk (financial, legal, security, and brand risk) and accountability (legal and commercial).
• Manage contract correspondences, claims and remedies (suggest remedial actions to evade legal implications that may affect the organization) change control process and related correspondence requiring legal input.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of contractors, consultants for compliance with contractual obligations, laws and regulations. Review remedies and resource actions against contractors for breaches of a material nature that may impact the business and provide legal advice where applicable
• Provide effective support and guidance to the organization stakeholders where deemed appropriate, whilst ensuring optimal delivery of assigned duties and responsibilities. Support and participate in negotiations and clarifications on behalf of departments to ensure the effective management of contract relationships between the business and third parties.
• Meeting with clients to discuss business and legal matters ensuring all contract documentation is up to date. Interprets contracts, negotiate contract renewals and effectively resolves issues with service providers and suppliers.
• Review and respond to all audit reports and recommendations. Review and refinement of company's policies, procedures and guidelines. Ensure contractual obligations adhere with the UAE laws and regulations and in line with organization policies and procedures in order to reduce the company's liability and protect its interest.
