POSITION: HSE OFFICER
COMPANY: SPECIALIZED INDUSTRIAL SERVICES. CO. LTD (SISCO).
CLIENT: SAUDI ARAMCO
PROJECT: GENERAL MAINTENANCE OF ONSHORE PLANTS.(GMOOP)
LOCATION: RAS TANNURAH, SAUDI ARABIA

Key Responsibilities:

General:
 Refine and implement health and safety programs and systems as directed by HSE Lead.
 Conduct regular job site safety inspections and conduct special studies and investigations related to safety and health for
the project site.
 Act as primary resource for Occupational Risk Assessment activities.
 Drive any actions that create a robust Contractor HSE Management System.

Safety Management System:
 Following up jointly with operations HSE programs resulting from implementation of OHSAS18001 standard.
 Advising on training requirements to establish a baseline level of HSE competence across all company staff.
 Support my supervisor in preparing for management reviews of health and safety management system.
 Acting as member of internal committees for Occupational HSE.

Contractor HSE performance:
 Support maintenance of an efficient system for contractors HSE evaluation and performance monitoring.
 Assist in developing and assess HSE aspects of contractor pre-qualification and tender specifications for various
projects/activities.
 Ensure compliance with contract HSE terms and conditions.

Documentation and Records:
 Ensure availability of all safety related training records.
 Ensure soft or hard copy database for key records generated from health and safety management system implementation
(Incident reports, audit reports, etc.).

Training and Awareness Campaign:
 Conduct and assist all activities associated with delivery of in-house safety trainings.
 Assist and provide expertise in creation of any material distributed as part of HSE awareness campaigns and related
safety programs.

Emergency Response Preparedness:
 Ensure that ERT receive sufficient training in collaboration with HSE Trainer.
 Can act as frontline ERT member to facilitate operations on the field.

Inspections and Audits:
 Participate planning for auditing of health and safety management system and advise my supervisor accordingly.
 Ensure suitable logging of findings to facilitate owning departments in prioritization for close out.
 Support any random / scheduled inspections driven from Health, Environment or Process Safety functions as per needs.

CLIENT: TECNICAS REUNIDAS Co / SAUDI ARAMCO
PROJECT: ARAMCO FADHILI GAS PROGRAM PROJECT
LOCATION: JUBAIL, SAUDI ARABIA

Key Responsibilities:
 Translate Tool Box Talk Meeting and Site Safety Orientation to Arabic language for Arab employees and conduct safety training to them.
 Daily complete an inspection to the site and filling required documents such as TSTI in order to brief employees to site hazards and how to work safely as per ARAMCO safety standards to maintain and control our workers and workplace.
 Prepare weekly and monthly HSE site report containing company activities, work location project Man Hours Worked on current week and cumulative. Benchmarks and restricted work case highlighted in the report. Major safety activities, major risk and people involved names.
 Monitoring workplace, maintain to promote safety in the workplace and involve people while conducting safety campaigns.
 Daily submit written observations to the management in order to keep workers and workplace under control and to take corrective actions and purchase equipment as required.
 Daily inspect and fill welfare facilities check lists such as Portable Toilets, Rest and Smoking Shelters, Drinking Water Stations, Eye Wash and First Aid Places and ensure that the quantity sufficient for the number of workers.
 Conduct brief explanation to the workers in case of new control measures or safety management system.
 Participate in all of management walkthrough at the site and taking note for their observations to rectify it as advised.
 Maintain standards of HSE and comply with the company’s Health, Safety & Environment management system requirements.
 Understand the requirements of project HSE Plan to ensure project HSE plan and company HSE management systems are implemented.
 Maintain standards of HSE and comply with the company’s Health, Safety & Environment management system requirements.
 Take reasonable care of one’s own health and safety and that of others in the workplace.
 Communication of HSE Policy, applicable legal requirements, HSE information and lessons learned time to time.
 Participate in and facilitate preparation, review and modifications of risk assessments as required.
 Assist Supervisors to complete accident and incident forms for on-site and off-site accidents related to project employees, vehicles.
 Ensure waste is segregated, stored and disposed properly and log maintained.
 Perform inspection of fire detection and fire fighting equipments regularly and report findings to concern in time for corrective actions.
 Monitor work area environment through the pro-active enforcement of HSE rules and regulations.

CLIENT: NESMA & PARTNERS / FLUOR ARABIA LTD / MA'ADEN PHOSPHATE COMPANY
PROJECT: MA'ADEN UMM WUAL PHOSPHATE MEGA PLANT PROJECT
LOCATION: WAAD ALSHAMAL INDUSTRIAL CITY, TURAIF, SAUDI ARABIA

Key Responsibilities:
 Translate Tool Box Talk Meeting to Arabic language for Arab employees every Saturday 06:00AM upon NESMA & Partners request as a client.
 Daily complete an inspection to the site and filling STA Safety Task Assignment form with short meeting in order to brief employees to site hazards and how to control it as per MA'ADEN / FLUOR Co safety standards to maintain and control our workers and workplace.
 Create weekly and monthly HSE site report containing company activities, work location project Man Hours Worked on current week and cumulative. Benchmarks and restricted work case highlighted in the report. Major safety activities, major risk and people involved names are part of the report as well.
 Monitoring workplace, maintain to promote safety in the workplace and involve people while conducting safety campaigns.
 Daily submit written observations to the management in order to keep workers and workplace under control and to take corrective actions and purchase equipment as required.
 Daily submit SCBA Self Contained Breathing Apparatus check list to the HSE Dprt in order to keep it available for any emergency case.
 Daily inspect and fill welfare facilities check list such as Portable Toilets, Rest and Smoking Shelters, Drinking Water Stations, Eye Wash and First Aid Places and ensure that the quantity sufficient for the number of workers.
 Gas test every two hours in the tanks to monitor oxygen and keep it maintained as a safe confined space during working hours.
 Conduct brief explanation to the workers in case of new control measures or safety management system.
 Participate in all of management walkthrough at the site and taking note for their observations to rectify it as advised.
 Maintain standards of HSE and comply with the company’s Health, Safety & Environment management system requirements.

PROJECT: KING ABDULLAH PETROLEUM STUDIES AND RESEARCH CENTER (KAPSARC) PROJECT
LOCATION: RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA


Achievements:
 Participated in the execution of the world class project (Under Saudi ARAMCO Supervision) - “King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Centre” (KAPSARC) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which is a unique combination of modern buildings and historical landmarks.

Key Responsibilities:
 Supervised daily progress of all construction work and maintained records for daily project review meetings with the contractors and internal project team.
 Communicated work instructions regularly to the contractors and directed employees as per decisions taken during the daily review meeting to ensure that the project was progressing as per schedule.
 Updated the progress of each activity in the project progress chart maintained on the company’s online project monitoring system along with physical records for management review and supported the project team in debottlenecking project activities.
 Maintained records of actual expenditure for all activities and materials procured, compared them with budgets and prepared variance reports for management review to keep overall project costs under control.
 Carried out quality inspection of all construction jobs involved in the project, identified deviations, if any, and instructed contractors to carry out necessary rectifications within deadlines.
 Maintained workplace and onsite health, safety and security parameters, enforced best practices through regular onsite inspection and ensured compliance with safe work procedures and use of personal protection equipment.
 Coordinated with project supervisors to manage issues faced by the contractors in the area and sought intervention by seniors, as and when required.
