Responsibilities and accountable:
- To maintain proper integration with client’s Design General Specification, Operational, Maintenance and HSE philosophies and practices.
- To review and evaluate equipment bids for technical compliance, review/ approval of VENDOR drawings, participation in witness testing, review and approval of ITP reports, coordination of SPIR for commissioning & operating spares.
- To ensure effective communications and co-ordinations between all I&C team members and all other disciplines, to ensure mutual awareness of requirements and sharing of information and common resources;
- Monitor overall productivity and efficiency of the instrument & control activities, forecast trends and anticipate potential problems and difficulties meeting milestones or budget within the I&C discipline, coordinate with project team including all disciplines to resolve problems;
- Conduct routine meetings with I&C team to monitor the projects’ performance and assess their performance;
- Perform and Coordinate all technical comments of COMPANY on submitted I&C deliverable.
- Delegate review responsibilities to subject matter experts as necessary. Coordinate, review, and consolidate all I&C review comments.
- Review, provide inputs/comments on other discipline drawings and documents;
- Control system application, selection and operation, including DCS, SCADA, PLC, and motor control.
- P&ID design and development and preparation of technical specifications. P&ID Review and Control narratives.
- HAZOP, HAZID/ENVID, SIL, 3D modeling, etc. and optimization studies.
- To review and provide input on Material Requisitions for bulk instruments, Technical Bid Evaluation, MTO and BOQ.
- To participate in FAT, IFAT & SIT, SAT, ISAT of DCS /ESD, FGD systems) for control system.
- Strict adherence to Health, Safety and Environment procedures.
- Construction support, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning of Project.
- Overall Team Mgt and liaison/coordination with client.

- Parco Asphalt Blowing EPC Project - Packages Units, Pakarab Refinery, Multan, Pakistan.
Instrumentation: Review of engineering documents (sizing, datasheet, specification, index, material requisition, clarification, Technical Bid Evaluation and kick of meeting) for instruments: pressure/flow/level/temperature transmitter, turbine flow meter, mass flow transmitter, Rota meter, displacer transmitter, radar level transmitter, control valve, on/off valve, shutdown valve, pH analyzer, oxygen analyzer, moisture analyzer, Carbon Dioxide and Conductivity analyzer. Review of calculation for orifice plate, control valves, regulating valve, etc. Review of hookup, mounting, cable route drawing, cable schedule, JB wiring diagram.
Control Systems: Review of engineering documents for system control i.e. I/O list, Functional Logic Diagram, Loop diagrams, Alarm and Trip setting list, cause and effect matrix, Instrument Master Index. Preparation engineering documents (specification, material requisition, clarification, Technical Bid Evaluation, kick of meeting, FAT & SAT of DCS /ESD systems) for control system. F&G systems.
Project management: Scheduling, resource loading & engineering reviews with Microsoft Web Office Project 2007 & Primavera P3. Project progress monitoring & review, resource leveling. Liaison with the foreign vendors for technical clarifications, customer and spare parts related issues & systems updates. Familiar with the ISA, IEC standards.
Experience in the managing, scheduling project, installation, commissioning and maintenance of DCS(Distributed Control System) Honeywell Experion PKS R210, WinCC SCADA, ESD systems like FSC Honeywell and SIEMENS PLCs, AB PLC's, analytical package units, Bentley Nevada CMMS systems, Smart and HART instruments & control valves. Installation, testing & commissioning and maintenance of WinCC SCADA.
