1. Monitor and ensure contractor compliance with project HSE requirements, legal regulations, and company standards. 2. Implemented and maintained HSE management systems in line with ISO forty-five thousand one: two thousand eighteen and ISO fourteen thousand one: two thousand fifteen, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and preparing sites for audits. Conducted regular site inspections, investigated accidents, and maintained detailed reports on incidents and near misses. Promoted HSE awareness through training, toolbox talks, and induction programs. Coordinated with project teams for risk assessments, emergency drills, and the implementation of the permit-to-work system. Managed PPE distribution, inspected tools and equipment, and ensured proper storage and disposal of hazardous materials. Regularly interacted with project managers and stakeholders to ensure safety standards were met. Maintained comprehensive records and prepared weekly and monthly HSE reports.

As an Assistant Safety Officer at Sobha Contracting Limited, I collaborated with the project team to develop and implement comprehensive safety plans and procedures. I conducted safety induction programs for new employees and visitors, ensuring awareness of project-specific protocols. Regular toolbox talk meetings were facilitated, providing crucial safety information and addressing employee concerns.

I maintained accurate records of safety activities, including incident reports, training records, and inspections. Daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports were prepared and submitted, highlighting key metrics and suggesting improvements. Risk assessments were conducted for all work activities, identifying and mitigating potential hazards.

I played a pivotal role in implementing the work permit system, including safe operating procedures for lifting and tower crane erection. Proactive monitoring and inspections were conducted to identify and address unsafe conditions. High standards of housekeeping were enforced to prevent accidents.

I ensured compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) usage through regular checks. Equipment inspections included cranes, excavators, lifting gears, scaffolding, and ladders. Collaborating with competent personnel, scaffolding structures were inspected for stability and adherence to safety standards.

Weekly inspections of vehicles and equipment were carried out, addressing maintenance and repair needs. Installation and inspection of firefighting equipment, such as fire extinguishers and hose reels, were performed. Safety guidelines and signage were established and maintained across the site.

Barricading measures were implemented to restrict unauthorized access. Active participation in safety meetings fostered communication and collaboration with clients and subcontractors. Accidents and incidents were thoroughly investigated, root causes identified, and preventive measures recommended.

Mock fire drills, evacuation drills, and spill emergency response drills were organized to enhance emergency preparedness. Safe stacking of materials was promoted to prevent falls and injuries. Continuous monitoring, evaluation, and implementation of corrective actions demonstrated a commitment to excellent safety performance.
