Overall supervision, design review, execution of Electrical services of large scale MEP projects with limited resources for effective profit of organization
Plan, coordinate, execute and control the Electrical Engineering activities for a Project or a Tender in accordance with project requirements within the assigned budget, time schedule and quality standards with a team of Site Engineers.
Monitor the electrical works and make sure the project runs in line with international and local codes and procedures.
Supervises subordinates during project development and implementation phases.
Plan resource needs and escalate as required for timely completion of project.
Review of consultant designs and specifications to determine the required sizes, types, capacities of electrical installations and work to be used
Review and process all electrical technical submittals.
Prepare TQ on related electrical works for any technical discrepancies.
Liaise and supervise the installation of selected electrical work.
Review all contractor claims in relation to the electrical site works.
Monitor project expenditures and budgets to anticipate any discrepancies that might

affect profit.
Evaluate officially received notices of variations in order to recommend appropriate action and to determine changes in installations and/or specifications affected.
Review the As Build drawings and record all approvals.
Coordinate and assist with site inspection of completed works and monitor testing and commissioning of electrical works.
Coordination with other project personnel to ensure that deadlines, procedures and project requirements are met.
Preparation of method statement related to the electrical works as and when there is requirement from the consultant.
Verify the accuracy of the shop drawings & their compliance to consultant’s designs to ensure that the work carried out meets the contract specifications.
Prepare the handover package for complete electrical works.
Work closely on any other duties distributed by Project Manager
Contribute to technical solutions on projects and Provide support and guidance to Technical Group.
Ensure that Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company policies.
Organizational
Review of consultant designs and specifications to determine the required sizes, types, capacities of electrical installations and work to be used.
Monitor the electrical work carried as per the approved shop drawings and the progress as per the approved construction programme for accurate and timely installations.
A report on the progress of the electrical work as directed by the project manager.
Coordination with other project personnel to ensure that deadlines, procedures and project requirements are met.
Coordinate all electrical engineering and planning activities throughout the projects life time.
Require subordinate to adhere company safety and quality standards as per published policies and procedures.
Liaise with the client and/or main contractor’s coordination engineer.
Arrange material and manpower in time as per construction programme, material flow sheet and manpower histogram.
Coordinate for material & drawing submissions.
