 Technical/Functional Lead: Provide Hyperion application leadership and guidance to client regarding “best practices” software modules through all phases of an implementation. Work with client to develop business solution designs to ensure that business requirements are met.
 Provide thought leadership around industry best practices for improving operation efficiencies and profitability of client business.
 Marketing Awareness and Client Relationships: Maintain effective relationships with multiple clients and/or vendors. Publish and/or present to user, industry and vendor. Assist in maintaining a professional market image. Create and maintain effective client relationships.
 Participate in the development of Intellectual Capital by contributing to submitting papers to various Oracle publications, updating user documentation, and by delivering training, either internally or externally. Participate in, and support, profitable business development.
 Project Support: Support project team for successful delivery of the client’s business requirements through all phases of the implementation. Lead weekly project status meetings for assigned team and actively participate in project’s weekly status, and/or, issues meetings.
 Implementation Cycle: Lead, design, build, test and deploy Hyperion applications for implementation projects on time and within budget. Troubleshoots issues and identifies and builds solutions that meet the client’s requirements.
 Staff Support: Acts as mentor for the professional growth of project team personnel, and will provide guidance and support to strengthen skills of all project team members assigned to the projects they manage.

Responsibilities:
• Gather business requirements and turn into practical consolidations and reporting solutions.
• Create necessary project documentation based on client design sessions.
• Effective in building complete HFM solutions including metadata, rules, Financial Reports, Web forms, Smartview, and security
• Good working knowledge of data collection tools such as ODI and FDM.
• Build effective and sustainable client relationships.
• Successfully execute all project phases including system requirements; design, build, and implementation.
• Write and maintain clear, concise functional and technical specifications on HFM applications and business system processes.
• Troubleshooting and optimization of HFM applications.

- Responsible for understanding the global business processes associated with the systems/ modules above.

* Install, Implement, customize and troubleshoot these Hyperion products (Essbase server, EAS, Essbase Excel Add In, Smart View, EIS, Essbase Studio, HSS, EPMA, Planning, FDM, HFM, Workspace).

* Working with these Hyperion products versions 9.3.1.x and EPM 11.1.x towards different infrastructures, Platforms and Operating Systems (32 and 64 Bit) such as MS Windows Server, IBM AIX on Power Systems, Sun Solaris SPARC, Red Hat Linux and Enterprise Oracle Linux. Also, different Databases such as Oracle 10g, 11g, IBM DB2 and MS SQL server.

* Provide technical support on issues relating to queries/problems about the Hyperion products and related modules to which the support analyst is assigned. Manage and ensure the timely resolution of Service Requests raised by customers, partners and consultants on Hyperion products related issues.

* Maintain an up-to-date and in-depth knowledge of new releases for the assigned product and any related modules. Contribute to Knowledge Management content creation and maintenance.
