Duties & Responsibilities as a Quantity Surveyor;
• Preparation of detailed take off quantities from drawings and prepare detailed bill of quantities in line with approved drawings and specifications.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and contractors to obtain the best price and terms.
• Preparation of Interim payment application along with the backup documents and getting approval.
• Taking off Quantities to check with BOQ quantities in order to value the work done for interim payment application, purchase materials etc.
• Dealing and assisting with contractual claims, EOT, Prolongation cost, Extra work, Variation, Price fluctuations, etc.
• Identifying and Analysis of Variations, Send Notification of Variations (NOV), Valuation of Variations, Submission with Unit Rate buildup and Backup documents of variation, getting approval and claim with Interim application.
• Providing commercial assistance for procurement works inclusive of tracking of procurements.
• Prepare inquiries to be sent to Subcontractors and Suppliers and evaluate quotations on return, negotiate, and prepare commercial comparison statements and recommendations.
• Record keeping, assist registers and all relevant trade licenses, insurance, bonds, and guarantees are in place and valid throughout the contract duration.
• Prepare of Material Requirement & Reconciliation.

• Proposed Building Project (2B+G+31) for the Ministry of Labor, Sri Lanka.
Duties & Responsibilities as a Site Engineer;
• Collaborated effectively with Stakeholders; subcontractors and suppliers to ensure precise execution of work.
• Utilized Primavera P6 software to create project schedules, monitor progress and to make reports.
• Well-experienced in the construction of sophisticated Substructure, Super structure and Luxury Finishes.
• Planned daily site work, organized logistics, materials and plants.
