Job Responsibilities:
Directing leading travel agents of DXB, SHJ & Northern Emirates to sell the best available fare to
passengers.
Educating the travel agents withnew products and services, fares, destinations and best routings.
Resolving queries from travel agents with regards to reservations, ticketing, fares, seat
confirmations, upgrade/downgrade proposals, meal requests, ADM queries, waiver
requests and special services.
Drawing up contracts for key corporate accounts after assessing commercial inputs from the Key
Account Managers in coordination with the Contracts Team and Tariff team
Keeping agents abreast of the very latest airline fares and general practices to ensure an overall
quick and effective service
Following up with the travel agents and corporate clients to ensure high quality service and obtain
feedback to improve customer satisfaction.
Providing support to travel agents and ensure that local and global corporate accounts are
managed consistently and effectively
Liaising with Head Office for queries related to reservations, fares, GDS related enquiries, pricing,
corporate accounts( local and global).
Liaising with other stations and airports to address queries relevant to but not limited to
reservation/ticketing queries, mishandled passengers, denied boardings as required each day to reduce
travel agents’ and passenger complaints
Recording complaints from travel agents /passengers and providing the best possible solution in
consultation with line manager
Dealing with direct as well as email enquiries from Customers (corporate/retail) regarding
bookings/queries.
Processing, communicating the status of the product along with the terms and conditions to the
clients, incompliance with applicable travel policies.
