Job Responsibilities:
.Manages large, more complex multiple projects from project kick-off to acceptance from production. Supervises, directs and coordinate with the project team from planning, estimation, design, installation, site coordination, commissioning to handing over of the project to the Production.
.Procuring equipments & materials for the projects from the vendors with effective cost control w.r.t internal cost consideration. Requesting for quotation from the vendors for each equipments & materials. Evaluation of quotations upon receipt of it.
. The cost control during the procurement process is further enhanced by co-coordinating with internal strategic purchase dept. Involving the vendors for several negotiation stages with strategic purchase dept and thus achieving the desired cost savings for the projects.
. Co-ordination, follow-up with vendors & contractors for timely delivery of the equipments for project execution and make sure to deliver the project as per scheduled contract date.
. Administer variations, changes and claims in the contract and escalating to the customer for price amendment with required design data & supporting documents. Set up and establish, review, monitor and report against the contract risk management.
. Utilizes financial and monthly forecasting tools to monitor, manage and control costs.
. Liaison with Government & statutory regulation authorities for obtaining necessary technical &safety approvals for the projects.
Contract Management
• Assessing contractual terms for secured projects, cost impact on the project,
advise execution and billing team for non-spelled items.
• Managing contractual correspondence, raising and settling contractual
claims.
•• Preparing bill of quantities for various items keeping proper account of
Materials and Machineries Transaction and reporting to the higher
authorities about the progress.
• Man Management & Shift Operation.
• Experience in implementation of TPM.
• Exposure to ISO 14000
• Experience & Knowledge of detergent Manufacturing.
• Knowledge & Experience of implementing Best Maintenance practice in plant.
• Knowledge of Store function & Inventory Management.
• Knowledge of Project Planning, Execution & Commissioning.

• Maintenance of Rotary & Static Equipments Like Pumps, Gear Boxes, Centrifuges, Chilling Compressor, Air Compressor , Diesel Generator, Fluid Thermo Heater, Cooling Tower, Fire Hydrant System, Condensors Over Head Crane, Dryer, Crystallizer etc.
• Preventive Maintenance of High Pressure Vessels like Auto claves, Glass Lined Vessels (GLV) Nitrators.
• Knowledge of Distillation Columns, sulzer crystallizer, Knowledge of Pipeline & Structure fabrication & Erection Work.
• Knowledge of Installation & Maintenance of Storage Sigma Mixer, Bins, Bin-Activators, Bucket Elevator, Cyclone Separator, Cage Mill, Screw Conveyors, etc.
• Knowledge of Non destructive testing like Ultrasonic thickness, X-ray, spark Hydraulic etc.
