Construction of underground metro stations 3E3 & 3E4

Generally responsible for implementations and monitoring of electrical related works at site.
 Estimates, prepares and assigns the resources such as work force, materials, consumables,
equipment, tools, etc., required for all electrical and related works prior to execution.
 Plans and analyses all possible construction methodologies and recommends the best options
to the Asst. Project Manager for approval prior to execution at site.
 Interprets construction drawings and studies the contract documents and applicable standards
or specifications prior to execution of any jobs.
 Manages directly and provide engineering and technical supports to all the electrical work
groups at site.
 Installation of underground cables ducts with manholes.
 Supervision the Termination of 33kv/11kv high voltage cables.
 Installation of link boxes.
 Supervision of laying & Termination of MV & LV cables.
 Involved in all aspects of QC activities related to Electrical Inspection.
 Involved in the testing (continuity and IR Test) of different types of Low and Medium
voltage cables, Hi-Pot test of medium voltage cables.
 Loop check for low and medium voltages Motor control center(MCC), Sub-Switch Gear
(SSG), Switch Gear(SG) and related with local control system(LCS), emergency switch(ES),
interposing relay cabinet(IRC), electrical control system panel(ECS).
 Construction Scope of work covers installation of lighting system, Road lighting, Grounding,
Cable tray, Panel boards, Transformer, Junction boxes, Glanding and Terminations,
Receptacles, Conduit work.
 Glanding and Termination of LV and MV equipment’s and at Switchgear.
 Studying of drawings one line diagrams, Block diagrams, wiring diagrams, circuit layout.
 Reviewing Single Line Diagrams and taking necessary actions on calculations as per
requirements.
 Preparation of single line diagram and load schedule for electrical power and lighting for both
residential and commercial buildings.
 Plans the execution of all electrical related works and coordinates the works to mechanical
and civil groups.
 Coordinates with Client / Consultant’s representatives for any site instructions and inspection
of works.
 Assign targets for accomplishments and ensure targets are met on daily basis for all electrical
groups at site.
 Submits site daily reports, inspection requests, estimates and all applicable monitoring reports
on regular basis or as required.
 Supports the Asst. Project Manager in accomplishing all the goals and targets for the
electrical groups at site.
 Ensures that all the works done are in accordance with the approved construction drawings,
contract documents, project specifications, and all applicable standards whether local,
national or international standards.
 Ensures that all site works are done according to all applicable quality standards.
 Performs other related duties as may be required by the Asst. Project Manager.
 Inspection of ground test reading.
 Inspection of ground rod and grounding cable as per engineering specification.
 Regular Site inspections, Supervisions and preparing daily and weekly progress report.
 Arranging and conducting site inspections with consultants for every stage.
 Installation commissioning and maintenance of power lighting.
 Lighting poles arrangement as per site conditions.
 Potential safety hazards must be identified and reported to safety department and must be
eliminated from site immediately with safety personnel.
 Directly responsible for the safety of all electrical groups’ personnel of the project by
ensuring that the project execution will be done according to all applicable health, safety,
sanitary and environmental standards.
 Make ensure the manpower is aware of safety rules and PPE requirement.
 Ensure the health safety and best performance though resource management.
