Accountability/Achievements:
▪ Responsibilities as Facilities Manager: Recruitment, Performance Evaluation, Budgeting
& monitoring financial activities within the division, development, project & program
management, Health & Safety Manual, Asset management including wellbeing of the
Shipyard including smooth functioning of Electrical, Mechanical, & Civil facilities, staff
housing expansions, and new Head Office Building. Emergency response to the key
equipment like Travel-Lift.
▪ Ongoing completed projects worth US$200 million, which is already supporting building
of 6 modern high-tech 72m corvettes.
▪ ADSB new expansion projects valued at further US$350million completed at the end of
2011 to support next ten years’ orders in the book. Among those significant projects are
153m Quay Wall, Concrete floating Pontoons, 3 Substations, New Twin Warehouse, New
Pipe Fabrication Shop, New 3 level modern Admin Building, Procurement of 100T Travel
Lift, and 2x55T mobile cranes.
▪ Process & support average 250 Facilities Requests every month.
▪ The facility was supporting ship building work worth of about US$800 million at the time I
left ADSB.
▪ Worked with the VP Engineering, and the Director of Engineering in leading a team of
Civil Engineers, Mechanical & Electrical Engineers, and Maintenance supervisors. The
total team members were about 85 and total workforce of ADSB was about 1200.
▪ In-depth knowledge in FEED analysis, Specification, Budgeting, Cost control, Preparation
& administration of Tender & Contracts, Tender/Bid Evaluation, and Project
Management.
▪ Monitoring & Report generation was done using i) Vantage for Projects & Development
works; and ii) MP2 for Maintenance Management

Accountability:
A senior management role initiated with involving Asset & Facilities management, design &
development of new Masters’ campus and construction, overall health & Safety, and campus
operation management, soft and hard services management, innovative & creative strategies for
MBA Program. Performance evaluation and recruitment of staff.
Involves extensive AD Government relationships, & active marketing for masters’ programs;
financial activities, recruitment of Graduate students, managing & coordinating faculty &
administration, class/course selection & scheduling. The job also involves overall
facilities/campus operation, service contract management, events arrangements, HSE campus
Health & Safety, and General management, faculty movement; designing and developing of the
new state of art Abu Dhabi campus for the College of Business & Economics (CBE) of UAEU.
Additional duties included are mentoring, counselling, and conducting seminars, presentations,
and roadshows in all prime governmental organisations.
Achievements:
I began with two profit related tasks: 1) Increase student number; 2) Improve and increase Facility
capability. Accomplished Task-1 with great success that necessitated expansion and increase of
classroom capacity at old campus. Continued achievements necessitated accomplishment of
Task-2; by the development of new campus; which was also completed during my second year
resulting in occupying the State of the Art new campus in Abu Dhabi, which is operational under
my leadership since 2013.
