Strategic & Leadership
• Develop and execute the manufacturing strategy for private label products in alignment with company
objectives and retailer requirements.
• Drive operational excellence, cost optimization, and margin improvement across all manufacturing sites.
• Lead and develop plant managers, production leaders, and cross-functional teams.

Operational Management
• Oversee daily operations of multiple plants/production lines dedicated to private label.
• Ensure production capacity, planning, and scheduling meet diverse retailer demand and promotional
timelines.
• Guarantee adherence to quality standards, certifications (ISO, BRC, FSSC 22000), and retailer-specific audits.
• Manage new product industrialization in coordination with R&D and commercial teams.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives (waste reduction, energy efficiency, automation).
Private Label Focus
• Serve as the key operations liaison between the company and retail/private label partners.
• Adapt manufacturing to diverse SKUs, packaging formats, and small batch runs typical in private label
business.
• Ensure agility in meeting short lead times and frequent product changeovers.
• Support category managers and sales teams in joint business planning with retailers by providing operational
insights and feasibility.
Financial & Compliance
• Own the manufacturing P&L, budgets, and capital expenditure planning.
• Ensure full compliance with local regulatory, environmental, health, and safety standards.
• Benchmark operations against industry best practices to maintain competitiveness.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
• Manufacturing cost per unit/efficiency ratios.
• On-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery to private label customers.
• Quality performance (customer complaints, audit scores).
• Plant OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
• Innovation speed-to-market for private label launches.
• Employee engagement & turnover.
• Sustainability metrics (waste, energy, water reduction).

• Built a high-performing operations team and developed metrics for continuous improvement and performance tracking.
• Designed hygienic layouts, selected and installed automated production lines, and ensured timely qualification and
ramp-up.
• Hired and structured site-wide workforce, instilled SOPs for safety and quality, and optimized resource planning.
• Orchestrated full plant readiness for local and export markets, ensuring alignment with global food safety standards.
Directed manufacturing, HR, and finance to support end-to-end plant operations across Bakery, Chocolate, Ready Meals,
and Vegan products.
• Implemented cost-effective strategies to reduce OPEX and increase output while maintaining high-quality benchmarks.
• Drove new product rollouts by closely collaborating with Sales, R&D, and Quality departments.

• Led production of bakery ingredients including powder mixes, sauces, and glucose syrups.
• Owned site KPIs (OEE, waste, productivity), spearheading plant efficiency and minimizing usage variance.

• Maintained Bel Quality Management System for Bel manufactured products within MENA Zone.
• Established the manufacturing and packing procedures (SOP’s) and follow up gaps in 3rd party and
company owned setups to ensure smooth distribution.
Established Vendor approval system by auditing suppliers and closing audit gaps.
