Experienced procurement professional skilled in Purchase of material, FM-Service and various equipment needs for Dubai Sports City. Being a part of DSC- centralized Procurement team I have managed the purchasing needs of all departments like FM, Victory Heights Community, IT, Sports Business, Turf Management and Marketing. My area of expertise has been in all kinds of MEP Works, FM related AMC’s ITT to sourcing of critical materials and machineries for our Turf Management Dept. Have managed all respective departments for understanding their requirement and helped them sort out in cost management and to ensure procurement goals are met in real time, negotiated contracts including blanket agreements and bulk rate contract agreements.Possess knowledge of operations gained while performing end-user surveys at various facilities to recommend ways to improve operations.

Dubai Sports City- Head Office, Working as a Procurement Engineer since July- 2012 till date.
Key Responsibilities
• To understand each requirement requested by FM/ Dept for all MEP and Landscaping works and conclude the subject by negotiating and awarding to the best Contractor / Vendor in terms of pricing, quality of service and etc, within the given budgets.
• To conduct efficiently the ITT’s for various high value FM services for Victory Heights Community, Dubai Intl. Cricket Stadium, all Sports Academies and ELS Club in DSC.
• Events Management related Procurement for Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Board of Cricket Control in India (IPL-7) BCCI, Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) and for various events conducted in DSC in all fields such as Security, Cleaning Services, Marketing, Caterings, Media, Medical services, Rental Equipments and etc. related to the Cricket Series within deadlines and well below to the predefined budgets.
• To have regular meetings with all departments for forecasting their needs and requirements related to manpower, sports equipments, chemicals, fertilizers all marketing and media products.
• Material Management- Procurement of all kind of Material (Hardware, Building Materials and consumables).
• Vendor Management - Have developed new vendors / contractors and also conducted KPI’s for existing vendor based on their quality of works and response to end-users.
• To source and import critical spares and products for our International Cricket stadium (Score Boards, Video Screens, sight screens and flood lights)
• Management of the RO plant and the STP at DSC, to award one off jobs and AMC’s for maintenance of the plant for smooth running of these plants include FF and FA system, Security system and pest control as per DEWA norms etc.
• Lead a team of two members (Junior Proc. Exe. and Document Controller) allocating them jobs to send out enquiries, follow up of quotations, processing the bid summary and issuance of the Purchase orders in Oracle / Microsoft.
• To assist the Procurement Head in all dimensions from choosing the right supplier / vendor for awarding high value jobs, making comparisons and projecting key points in reviewing the ITT’s, monthly report on the PO’s and savings. Also keep him posted on the every department weekly meetings.
•Responsible for all raw-material including HRC’s, structural steels building materials and equipment needs for this Division’s orders including managing purchasing, controlling inventory, overseeing operation of the all-around stockyards, and maintaining and placing orders for AED 4 million as per the quarterly budget.
•Developed strategic suppliers and negotiated contract agreements to reduce the number of vendors from 100+ to a group of 65 core partners resulting in cost savings due to reduced administrative costs as well as quantity price breaks.
•Interacted with all departments in the Manufacturing & Trading Division, the President of the Exports Division, Regional Managers, and the main office in Other City.
•Provided assistance to project staff at the Division’s other locations in the areas material sourcing, technical support and vendor relations.
•Reduced new equipment purchases by good margins and managing all assets of the factory and better productivity equipment needs for manufacturing orders taking place throughout the factory.
•Reduced fleet costs by 7% by establishing preferred vendors, improving tracking and scheduling processes, and implementing a maintenance log.
•Participated in the supply of oil field equipment for the Ministry of Iraq with order closing achievements and net margin of 16-18%.
•Handle the tasks of building and sustaining long-term partnerships with key suppliers
•Responsible for checking materials including material costs and adequate supply source. Perform investigation of new materials/technologies/suppliers, when appropriate.
•Implement appropriate and effective sourcing strategies in the areas of materials, supplies and services
•Handle responsibilities of supporting business requirements by developing localized manufacturing and least-cost logistics criteria
•Perform the tasks of negotiating, sourcing and ensuring compliance with suppliers' agreements
