VAT consultant - 18/06/2015 -VAT/tax administration - Providing personalised client/customer care relationship whilst acting on behalf of the HMRC. Performing administrative duties on a daily basis including processing of forms and VAT refund claims correctly. Other responsibilities include resolving telephone and border force customs queries whilst utilising RTS and other tax free databases including Global blue, Premier uk tax free and GB taxfree . Ensuring and monitoring practice standards via necessary teamwork with HMRC to ensure correct delivery and enforcement of customs law.
World Duty Free-Team Spirits- 06/03/2012- Promotion and Customer service assistance - Providing one to one customer service and being a personal shopper. Identify the needs of the customer and selecting the right products for them. Meeting sales targets and liaising with consultant and other specialist sales staff on a daily basis to maintain store standards and teamwork. As well as cashiering including till-checks.
Kerman Pharmacy Dispensing Chemists- Placement involved supporting the pharmacy staff including the pharmacists and other pharmacy supports staff such as the dispensing assistants. My role was primarily as a counter assistant, where I had to represent the pharmacy providing other pharmacy services and signposting services for patients. Responsibilities included checking prescriptions, preparing and dispensing specific medications with a pharmacist and support team. Other roles performed included providing customer service, performing administrative and sales duties via the use of computerized database system and maintaining standard operating procedures.
Spring grove medical surgery- The Thornbury Drive Health Centre Receptionist- Responsibilities include resolving telephone enquiries, maintaining medical records, practice schedules and consultations via utilising EMIS MSO database systems. Performing and undertaking administrative duties such as booking appointments for general practitioners, nurses and other practice staff. Patient data analysis and input through utilising SMART chip databases. Ensure and monitoring practice standards through essential teamwork and ensuring correct delivery of medical services. Liaison with patients, health insurance and NHS trust organisations on behalf of the medical practice. Working closely with senior GP and practice manager to ensure teamwork and targets are achieved successfully.
I also have acquired entry -level work experience at Charing Cross Hospital and the British Red Cross Headquarters through summer internships.
