• Inspect stage inspection like set-up, Weld visual and Dimensional measurements.
• Prepare stage inspection records & get it inspected by TPI/Customer.
• Review PWHT chart w.r.t Heat treatment request (HTR), codes and standards.
• Witness hardness measurements by portable hardness tester.
• Witness PT, MT, UT of weld joints and base metals and get it cleared from TPI customer
• Coordinate with internal and external customers.

Major Responsibilities
Well experienced in various piping materials like carbon steel, LTCS, Copper Nickel, Alloy steel, stain less steel.
Prepare Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) in compliance with ASME B31.3, ASME B 31.4 & ASME B31.8. ASME Sec IX, API 1104 and client’s specification.
Conduct Welding procedure qualification test as per proposed welding procedure specifications.
Perform Welder Qualification for various welding procedure specification as per ASME Section IX, API 1104, and relevant client’s specification.
Welding Inspection of various piping materials like Carbon Steel, Low temperature Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel used in Petrochemical Industries as per ASME B 31.3 / 31.4 /31.8
Inspection of heavy structural fabrication as per AWS D1.1.
Implementing Inspection Test Plan and QC procedures for various activities involved in the construction of Oil & Gas facilities & Petrochemical Plant.
Incoming Inspection of various steel materials, consumables, tools and equipments etc. with relevant documents like Purchase Order, Material Test Certificates. If required, perform mechanical test and chemical analysis in order to confirm specification and relevant International Standards.
Interpretation of Radiographic films and NDT reports.
Witnessing of hydro test for both on-plot / off-plot piping.
Witnessing punch list action points and submission of final.
Education/ Professional Courses Professional Qualification : Diploma In Mechanical Engineering, Certified Welding Inspector from TWI, ASNT LII in RT, MT, PT,UT.
