SCOPE OF WORK:
Handled various activities such as

•Knowledge: Having strong knowledge on SS7 Signalling (SCCP, SCP, STP, MTP, ISUP, MAP, and CAP messages among various Entities in the network of GSM. Switches, SS7, ISDN protocols.
•Handling performance testing.
•Checking and maintaining All VAS servers and 2G, 3G ICR services.
•Timely supporting for the capacity expansion at 2G, 3G ICR & VAS nodes.
•As per CO interaction Welcome SMS server connectivity is established to KARSTP and AP& KAR Core nodes traffic are migrated successfully.

SGSN Experience:
•Support in Commissioning and Installation of GIS and Ericsson SGSN MKVIII.
•Hardware and functional Acceptance Test Procedure for Ericsson SGSN.
•Operation & Maintenance of Ericsson SGSN, checking the PDP related issues.
•SGSN implementation and traffic migration
•Supported customer care and solved customer complaints
•Support for GPRS National and International Roaming configuration and testing.

I have Supported for below task as per tat-SMSR
•SMSR is successfully connected to both STP’s.
•MO/MT-SMS testing has been done successfully as per CO instruction.
•MO/MT SMS traffic has been migrated successfully via SMSR .
Extended support for Below Customer Complaints resolution as per TAT
•Vodafone to Airtel SMS issue (Error:- map-UserAbortChoice) have checked and Timely coordinated & captured the trace to provide evidence to Airtel team and closed the issue asap (Issue at Airtel end).
•Vodafone to Reliance SMS issue (Error:-Unable to send SMS) have checked and timely coordinated with Reliance team and traffic has been diverted GCS01 from both STP’s (RCA-Fibre cut at Reliance KAR).

•ZULO SMS Issue (Error :- Timeout) have checked and Timely coordinated to resolve the issue at UCC end by capturing and analyzing the traces.

•VAS new node-Tanla SMSC is successfully connected to STPHYD and 10Mbps- BW has been upgraded on the existing STP BW. as per CO plan

•STP Router01/slot3 card went faulty, have migrated all the links from R1 to R2 and coordinated with vender to replace faulty cards.


•Supported Emergency network restoration activity due to HudHud Cyclone. Handled War Room for configuration and testing of Roaming services during calamity, Worked towards restoration with least possible time. Vodafone was one of the first restored networks.

•Resolving MNP related customer complaints within TAT

•Resolving 2G-ICR and 3G-ICR complaints, as per TAT.

•Resolving, International/national SMS Issue/ Welcome SMS Issues, as per TAT.

•Resolving Out-roamer and In-roamer (International/national) LU issue (GSM/GPRS), as per TAT (with help of RTSP).

•Resolving GVN related customer complaints within TAT

•Implements change management requests onto core network elements (Nokia HLR, MSS and SGSN) for IREG testing and updating of International Roaming database.

•Performs end-to-end capability testing for inter-PLMN GSM, GPRS, 3G, ICR, PRI and CAMEL Roaming.
•Performs fault management functions by troubleshooting International Roaming issues.
•Provides support for various International-Roaming-related projects and newly-launched services
•Updates and disseminates Globe Telecom’s IR21 to all Roaming Partners and ensures the proper implementation of GSM, GPRS, and 3G parameters. Also reviews IR21 documents and GPRS checklists of Roaming Partners for proper implementation in Globe Telecom Roaming database
•Planning, implementation and testing Signalling traffic like LU In-roamer, International National, SMS-MO traffic, USSD, GPRS, SMS MO towards different operator NDC’s & SRI Query towards Vodafone STP in a phased manner
• Implementation MNP rollout and Testing of QoD and IDPm manipulation for Post-paid and Prepaid call Scenarios.
• Management of IREG testing (Post-paid, Prepaid, SMS, GPRS, 3G).
• Ported-out and ported-in tested after MNP DB loading.
• Close Monitoring for Link load utilization through Spot server by 24*7
• Planning and migrating the traffic on mated pair STPs.
• Pre-MNP requisites like IN traffic migration & SMS traffic Migration via STP.
• Analysis of SCCP error by using SIS trace and correcting the errors.
• Ensuring proper Level opening for Voice and SMS of various operators towards STP & GMSC.
• Planning and Implementation of Signalling connectivity towards Vodafone STPs from Network nodes such as Core Nodes & VAS Nodes
•Vodafone HSW norms are followed always and ensuring with all the vendors to follow the same at Uppal MSC Location.
