• Execute routine & breakdown maintenance jobs in 132KV incomer line, 33KV outdoor substation.
• Supervise and monitor the progress of routine, breakdown and planned maintenance activities, so as to minimize down time for the equipment for increased plant availability
• To carry out engineering investigation of plant defects as necessary and under take other engineering investigation and test work.
• To order plant spares and set track stock level so as to avoid shortage of spares during major breakdown & overhaul of the plant for increased plant availability
• To assist in the preparation of technical specification for contract works and under takes technical supervision of contractors.
• To participate in the identification and correction of engineering problems as directed by Unit Head.
• Plant fault analysis and remedial action.
• Operation and Maintenance of Incomer Line of 132 KV, 33 KV outdoor switchyard & 11kv indoor substation.
• Testing and Maintenance of transformers upto 60 MVA & distributions transformers.
• Testing and Maintenance of HT switch-gears (indoor & outdoor), Motorized isolator. Current transformer, potential transformers.
• Maintenance of Static VAR compensator..
• Maintenance of numerical Distance relay, transformer protection relays, feeder protection relays,
• Operation and Maintenance of Battery charger 220vdc, Batteries bank, UPS etc.
• Maintenance and Management of ABB PLC, operator panels, terminal viewers.
• Hardware Configuration, Programming and troubleshooting of remote, local and panel PLCs.
• To maintains high level of engineering practices in the performance of the work
• Commissioning, Maintenance and troubleshooting of PCC and MCC
• Timely Completion of project activities as per the schedule
• Breakdown analysis of Electrical & Electronics equipments (DRIVES, MOTORS& TRANSFORMER)
• Planning maintenance activities & handle work related HT & LTD MOTORS
• Daily visual inspection of equipment in the Kiln and it the control/Operating room
• Supervise electrical & Instrumentation construction & commissioning work at site.
• Able to take first line supervisory role in shift .Better Man power planning & monitoring
• Experience in control system, power transformer, AC motors, lighting system, power & control cable, familiar of all kinds of relay
• Supervising and directing the activities of plant operation in his shift to run the plant in accordance with operation procedure and instruction
• Experience Installation, Maintenance, Testing and troubleshooting of the above equipment
• Coordinate with other sections of the plant for their requirement of power during commissioning and normal plant running
• Experience Installation, Maintenance, Testing and troubleshooting of the above equipment
• Checking of electrical and instrumentation details engineering, prepare enquiry specification, Float enquiry and carry out technical bid evaluation
• Coordinate with other sections of the plant for their requirement of power during commissioning and normal plant running
• Attending all Electrical & Instrumentation related fault.
• Responsible for monitoring, supervising & coordinating the maintenance of electrical controls and equipment
• Perform responsibility of conducting corrective and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment and their controls
• Documentation of breakdown history and carrying analysis for each every breakdown
• Handle responsibilities of preparing training materials for he entry level electrical engineers
• Responsible for identifying and repairing minor electrical faults
• Provided technical support for system operation & maintenance
• Providing technical direction to on job trainees, electricians.
