- Handling customer Break down calls requests (by mail, Phone or Fax) and registering in portal
- Assigning jobs to the maintenance engineers and scheduling their visits to customers
- Following up with the engineers after their visit to customer, getting reports from them and maintain the visit records
- Arranging the spare parts quotation needed to fix customers instrument and following up with customers for order
- Following up with the manufacturer for the spare parts delivery status and updating the customers accordingly
- Preparing service charge quotations for engineer visits for instruments out of warranty
- Preparing Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and keep following up with customer for order
- Renewing and expanding renewable AMC’s, including multi-year agreements, to both new and existing customer
- Forwarding the reports to finance for invoicing
- Travel arrangements for in house engineers and visiting engineers
- Sending monthly and quarterly customer excellence metrics data to Manufacturers technical support
- Maintaining records of the Service income and preparing reports for (completed installations, successfully closed break down calls, pending jobs, number of Annual Maintenance contracts, spare parts income and inventory) for each quarter.
- Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
- Presenting the product or service favorably and in a structured professional way face-to-face
- Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails
- Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries
- Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations
- Preparing the quotation as per customers request and following up with them for the Orders
- Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers
- Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales as quickly as possible
- Keeps management informed of progress and account status.
