Daily job involves environmental analysis, at both macro and micro levels, to filter and identify the highest value public and private projects in the market, build relationships with the key contractors, sub-contractors and engineers involved, and ensure Hilti achieves a strong market share and maintains sustainable growth. Specific responsibilities then cover lead generation to identify new business opportunities for Hilti products and services, research of market trends and analysis of competitor activity to benchmark Hilti’s value proposition, contribution to the development of the annual strategic planning process and fully in charge of execution of the strategy. Support customers in GCC markets for technical and financial advices to maximize ROI and maintain healthy win-win business relationship through comprehensive marketing activities. Achievements include over 30% of growth and strengthening of client base in GCC markets by reestablishing positive relationship with former high value clients, identifying key decision makers and influencers within potential clients who then began to establish and expand business with Hilti.
A marketing-focused role that covered brand management and training of Middle East regional personnel in use of the brand, multi-channel regional sales management, product campaign management, planning and implementation of new product launches, price-setting for new product lines, coordination of attendance at high visibility trade shows, and management of regional focus groups and customer opinion surveys to ensure successful positioning for new products. Required extensive product knowledge to identify suitable lines for monthly promotions, skills in budget management and relationship management in gaining both internal and external buy-in for new and existing products via targeted communications and PR campaigns, and project management. Organised internal Kick Off meetings to raise awareness of new products and services, and supported sales team by meeting Chinese and Korean customers to better understand customer needs and provide appropriate suggestions or proposals.
