As project manager for a long-term engagement with Roads & Transport Authority Dubai, I am responsible for multiple projects related to RTA Public Transport ticketing systems. My main scope is:
- Project planning in coordination with RTA
- Managing services / product delivery based on SOW
- Managing a team of 6 -14 FTE to provide services to RTA during long-term engagement.
- Holding workshops with more than 7 stakeholders, incl. RTA, vendors for requirements gathering.
- Supporting RTA with multiple vendor management
- Leading the system design & business / technical specifications update to achieve sign-off with all stakeholders.
- Looking ahead, a feasibility study for next generation of the ticketing system.
- Innovations, i.e. NFC, Virtual Vending Machine, Open Loop system etc.
Reporting to the program manager, my scope as delivery manager includes the following:
- Be responsible for constructing a delivery team, provide regular project progress update to the program manager.
- Review and quality assurance of the project delivery.
- Coordination and steering the project committee meetings with all stakeholders for project status update
- Vendor management & proposal evaluation
- Participation in design and specification resolution process of a public transport ticketing system throughout the complete project phases.
In parallel, I was also responsible for Sales and Delivery of MasterCard Formal Approval Services (FAS) for the customers in MENA region.
Senior advising role in product design, roadmap for a Public Transport Fare Collection System, proposal evaluation, bridging technology, vendor management etc.
