Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Meet with contractors, consultants and developers on a regular basis to improve relations and increase levels of enquiry.
Ensure completion and submission of accurate tender quotations.
Attend site meetings with contractors, consultants and developers throughout the build to determine exact requirements and ultimately conclude the sale.
Ensure CRM system is maintained on a daily basis.
Maintain a project focus matrix to ensure a proactive sales approach.
Preparation and implementation of the project department annual budget and sales strategy in line with the overall business objectives.
Manage and control department expenses and debtor levels.
Motivate and direct all staff members to ensure achievement of overall business objectives.
Conduct annual staff performance reviews.
Responsibilities included, but were not limited to:
Meet with developers, consultants and contractors on a regular basis to obtain specification of our products and ultimately secure sales.
Network within the construction industry in order to build relations with key decision makers.
Gather industry information on current and future projects and advise senior management and sales force of any pertinent details.
Analyze all relevant project details to evaluate project requirements and offer solutions to consultants.
Assist consultants with the drawing-up of schedules for specification purposes.
Ensure accurate and timely preparation and delivery of tenders, submittals and samples, and negotiate prices to ultimately secure orders.
Liaise with principals on issues such as new products, project developments and future exhibitions.
Responsibilities included, but were not limited to:
Conceptualize and manage local advertising and in-house product launches.
Set sales forecasts and sales team performance goals.
Monitor sales team performance and guide where required.
Develop relations with existing and potential corporate accounts, including the negotiation and closing of large contracts and tenders.
Prepare annual budgets in line with overall company objectives.
Monitor and control expenses, new vehicle stock mix, stock aging, debtor levels, and sales administration.
Ensure all department performance goals were achieved or exceeded.
Ensure excellent customer service levels were maintained by sales staff.
