Contract: 092-C51(Bridges and Highway Project)
• Coordinating with various Contractors and sub-contractors to ensure that all work is carried out safely and efficiently, in line with the Construction Management plans, policies and quality procedures.
• Manage the contractors by setting priorities and objectives, providing feedback, giving advice and direction to contractors to meet with contractual & legal obligations.
• Ensuring all the works and materials at site are safely planned, executed and supervised by the contractors and sub-contractors as per approved drawings, Method statements, Material Approvals and risk assessments.
• Conducting daily site visit and issuing reports wherever concern is required for smooth progress of work.
• Attending meetings between contractors, sub-contractors, engineering, suppliers etc to ensure all prerequisites documents like MS, MA, Risk Assessment, Insurance, Plans, Drawings etc are in place for the starting of work.
• Ensuring all works are delivered on time with specification required quality. Report to the contractor any areas of unsatisfactory performance and ensure appropriate action is taken by Contractors to correct the deficiencies.
• Ensure the project is within the budget limit whenever variations are coming by properly planned and managing to minimize the cost increase.
Doha Metro Redline Project
• Involved in supervision for major Intersection station for Redline & Blue line stations, switchbox and launch box.
• Responsible for the day to day supervision of the contractor structural and civil works associated with underground stations, cross passages and emergency shaft as directed by Senior Construction Manager in accordance with Project requirements and Specifications.
• Inspection for all Rfi’s and other correspondence relating to site works.
• Site management and monitoring of progress as per the Contract Schedule and report the areas of concern to PM
• Attend and support constructability workshops with the contractor.
• Attending weekly, monthly and other progress and technical meetings held at site.
About Project: 25 KM Tunnel below 40m to 90m ground level by gravity flow for sewage waste of varying 4.5m to 7m diameter by using 5 TBM machines. Concrete lining with HDPE membrane.\]
