Directing the preparation of financial reports that summarize and forecast the organization’s financial position such as income statements, balance sheets and analyses of future earnings and income

Ensure that all statutory requirements of the organization are met including Tax.

Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit with the approved external auditor.

Monitors comparative budgeting reports and recommends corrective action as may be necessary, based on actual results achieved.

Ensuring compliance with financial legislation and standards

Assessing capital finance proposals and the financial status of operational projects

Delivering long range profit forecasts, budgeting and financial reporting

Determining, implementing, monitoring, reviewing and evaluating budgetary and accounting strategies, policies and plans in consultation with GM and CFO and in collaboration with all other Department Heads.

Ensures the efficient operation of the computerized financial applications and suggest necessary development / customization of the software, including training needs for handling their roles and responsibilities and managing the software.

An US based fortune 500 MNC in 64 countries. Reporting to Huntsville, USA for the financials every month and to the European Head Quarters in Holland for the Mangement reports. Part of the team to implement a 72M $ project with STC ( Saudi Arabian Telecom Company) in partnership with Lucent Technologies and Rolta India.
Ensure that the financial reporting is done on time. Reporting on the variances with the prior month and quarter. Ensure that the Management reports are done by the 15th of every month to the Middle East Head Quarters as well as the European Head Quarters. This is an extensive report which shows the variances with the actual and forecast of the present month, and a full year forecast. The variances are explained for the revenues, GP, OPEX and the NP. This also includes the progress of the STC project which was done on a cost to complete method. Various other projects also followed this suit.
Responsible for all the Intercompany balances to be confirmed every month.
To ensure that all the eliminations are done in the Financial and Management reports as the entire GCC accounts were consolidated at the Middle East Head Quarters.
Responsible for Turkey Accounts.
Prepare the budget as per the guidelines from the European Head Quarters and Corporation, with the main focus on Head Count, which were to be justified every time. Present the proposed budgets for approval, and implement the same once approved. Answer all the queries on the budget to both EHQ and Corporation.
Responsible for the audit done by E&Y. Responsible for the internal audit and compliance, done by the EHQ team as well as Corporation.
