Well versed in materials planning, sourcing & inventory management in total SAP-Procurement & Logistics Modules (PDO) & ERP(ADS) modules.
Serving as a Logistics Manager for an Oil & Gas Project Company at Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.
Taking care of entire International Logistics pertaining to all PDO ( Petroleum Development of Oman) shipments, Journey managements, ISO, HSE & HEMP system Procedures, liaison with freight forwarders & Liners, etc. Budgetting & Negotiation Management & cost control is my key areas.
Heading Materials Department for 1. Printing Division, 2. Plastic Division and 3. Water & Flavor Division.
WORK DESCRIPTION:
Procurement & Managing stores, Introducing New Vendors & all types of analyzing including vendors and materials, Liaison with Govt. Offices reg. Customs clearances etc & Procurement worth US$150 Million per annum. MIS, coordinating with finance for fund for imports, Analysing International Market trend and giving views to the Directors, Providing Training to staffs, Negotiating skills, E-sourcing, maintaining JIT concepts, etc.
Entire materials mgmt., Budgeting, Imports & exports Logistics, e-sourcing & Negotiation mgmt, ISO procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Buying best materials at best price with good credit after having discussions and assessments of the requirement, Introducing new vendors & new products thru ‘e-sourcing’, controlling of prices & stocks using JIT concepts, controlling of cash & credit purchase, ABC analysis, observing market trend on various products, Import & Export logistics involving coordinating with shippers & govt. Organizations etc., interacting with Finance & Production departments regarding payments & procurements, supervising & giving training to the subordinates & generating reports and budgets for the MIS. Also we are an ISO 9000-2001 organization to maintain International Quality systems and as well as we implemented 5S activities like sorting, straightening, standardizing, shining & sustaining & won 2nd price award in South India Region.
Entire Procurement & Warehouse activities, Liaison with Government offices, generating MIS reports, Logistics, Budgets and Coordinating with Management Executives.
General administration including housekeeping, arranging Itinerary etc.
C.P. Group a multinational, having Head quartered @ Bangkok with annual turn over of US$10 billion.
All Sorts of materials department work including purchasing of Raw materials (both Imports & Local), logistics involving
Planning & controlling of raw materials with handling Capacity of 4000 Metric tons per month & 40 tons of Cold storage etc, vendor developing, Import & Export Dealings, liaison with government offices, assisting Vice president in Bangkok regarding International Trading, involving in various trading activities & providing
Training to Trading Coordinators etc.
