■Prepare projects budget and ensure feasibility of cash flow with Finance in light of project schedule
■Consolidate budget from all project into a master database
■Prepare "Company Norms" and monitor overall project productivity
■Analyze project spending versus baseline program and identify or forecast monetary impact of delays
■Collect and consolidate cost control KPIs from all projects and identify or forecast budget overruns and liaise with contract admin for potential issues related to specific projects
■Prepare executive progress reports for all RPD projects to management
■Highlight potential risks, discuss with project team and contribute to the mitigation
■Analyze overall project performance by investigating budget overruns and possible shortcomings and identify key lessons learned
■Prepares the preliminary cost estimates for the projects cost during the Proposal Phase as requested by the Proposal Manager.
■Prepares the preliminary cost estimates for the project during the Bases of Design (BOD) Phase, if requested, based on the released design and outline specifications. Presents/discusses these preliminary cost estimates with the Project Manager/Engineer for review before submitting to the Client. Answers the Client questions on these estimates and prepares the necessary corrections, if any, to suite Client's budget.
■Prepares the B.O.Qs and the final cost estimates for the project, at the end of the Engineering Production Phase, based on quantities calculated by the Quantity Surveyor(s) of the Technical Disciplines from the construction drawings.
■Prepares the comparison tables of tenderers prices during the tenders Evaluation Phase
■Responsible for Cost control works (measuring actual against projected cost, insuring and analyzing any deviation, issuing the necessary recommendation to redress deviation.
■Following up execution of the cost control system and plan.
■Writing and submitting a monthly report on his scope of responsibilities to project manager.
■Studying targeted versus actual performance rates.
■Writing project cost control final report.
