Timely consolidation and completion of reporting for PMT SBUs (UOP, HPS, AM) including: Monthly Highlights, Monthly Pulse, variance Analysis assessment and Monthly Operating Reviews, working closely with the region SBU leaders and finance managers;
•Managed timely and accurate financial results and oversight of the production & consolidation of monthly management accounts, relevant KPI's and variance analysis, commentary, risks & opportunities;
•Responsible for a team of 15 member based over multiple locations across financial controls, FP&A and shared services;
•Drive and track business productivity initiatives across multiple functions;
•Set business financial targets for region by LOB/ Country to achieve the financial plans and forecast;
•Advise business leadership of opportunities and risks impacting business performance;
•Define, develop and enthusiastically drive process improvements to reduce finance business process cycle times, improve financial forecast quality and reliability, improve information provided to leadership for business decisions;
•Perform financial closing activities (Journal entries, P&L analysis and correction, orders stats, B/S verification) in sync with the latest Controllership and COTA organization;
•Ensure compliance with Corporate Policies and Procedures
•Complete special and ad-hoc projects as requested to support business needs
•Involvement in executive visits and board meetings, providing overall regional leadership;
•T&M process improvement and forecasting accuracy;
•Cash collection and past due reduction by better driving people behaviors, billing correctness, contract payment terms and milestones;

FP&A):

•Responsibility and oversight of the production & consolidation of monthly management accounts, relevant variance analysis, commentary, risks & opportunities in line with Group's reporting deadlines;
•Detailed analysis and management reporting of for example Top 10 customers for the different therapeutic areas, Top 10 markets etc. including gross margin analysis, profitability by customer, by product;
•Manage the development and preparation of the Regional Financial Targets.
•Critically reviews the forecasts, data, and analysis submitted by Area Finance teams for Plan / Forecast and ensure Plan / Forecast are prepared according to Global Sector timetable and instructions
•Provide financial support (advice and modelling analysis) on Regional Business Development opportunities, acquisitions, licensing, divestments and other initiatives as required.
•Assist in the implementation of the strategic integration plan activities;
•Business process review and evaluation and development of the business process methodology;
•Continuously review and update training materials ensuring appropriate change management.


CONSULTANT-FINANCE RISKS & CONTROLS:
•Design and deployment of key internal controls in the ERP (SAP) - identify key risks to the company, working with functional and process owners to review business processes, agree required mitigating controls and review implemented methods to control these risks.
•Identify opportunities to embed preventative automated controls vs. detective controls into the control framework. Align risk and control descriptions to SOX requirements.
•Ensure that finance controls are embedded and adequately documented, and the Key Controls are tested to the required standard and able to be operated and compliant to design in each process area
•Development of the audit plan and the auditing procedures to be used
•Lead and coordinate the creation of training materials to aid control operation;
•Maintaining & updating the ERP Internal Controls Framework during the deployment release, including risk and control assessments for localisations.

Management of the monthly update to in year forecasts, understanding the key drivers (operational. commercial etc) and reflecting the most accurate position with any movements being clearly articulated
•Work with business units to produce the annual Business Plan, challenging all assumptions and conducting a bottoms-up review to provide Senior management with a platform from which to consolidate and grow
•Proactively manage cash to minimize working capital needs and bank borrowings
•Establish appropriate procedures to minimize credit risk with new and existing customers
•Support Group MD in securing optimal borrowing solutions in support of business growth projections
•Lead the Due Diligence process for acquisitions

Heading, developing and couching team of 22 members and reporting to the CEO.
•Driving quarterly forecasting and annual business planning and budgeting activities
•Review of monthly results and presentation at Board of Directors
•Overseeing consolidation of all financial information including production statutory and regulatory accounts.
•Assigned task of Budget preparation, progress tracking, and generation of variance report and establishment of controls across the organization.
•Establishment of business controls and compliance across the organization.

Primary responsibilities include strategic audit planning, execution, supervision and review of multifarious assignments.

•ADDITIONAL PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES:

RISK MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL ASSESSMENT
•Assessing various activities/functions of the company, unit strategies and annual plans to identify business and operational risks and the controls in place to safeguard against them;
•Designing comprehensive risk & control assessment questionnaires for risk assesses i.e. respective frontline managers and departmental heads;

FINANCIAL ADVISORY
Carrying out due diligence exercises, mergers, acquisitions, development of financial models for future projections of the balance sheet and cash flows, share valuation using various tools and assumptions and sensitivity analysis and restructuring of loans and cash flows of various companies using financial models.

FORENSIC AND OTHER SPECIAL INVESTIGATIONS ASSIGNMENTS
Carried out special investigative audits for Power Generation Industry with emphasis on verification of underlying assumptions of the Reference Tariff.
