Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable:
•Review accounts payable & receivable requests from other departments to ensure validity and relevant support documents; process payables and update records.
•Manage account receivables portfolio of the company’s projects of more than 1200 customers.
•Reconcile the customers’ ledger, posting of the payments to issue receipts through SAP.
•Maintaining & updating aging receivables.
Bank Reconciliation & Cash Account:
•Perform account reconciliations including bank reconciliations and balance sheet accounts and ensure maximize accuracy of recorded transactions.
•Report discrepancies between bank and company records to Senior Accountant.
•Consolidate and present the liquidity report to the management weekly and monthly.
•Prepare forecast report related to cash inflow and outflow.
•Manage funds and prepare daily cash flow report to avoid discrepancies and report to management to avoid bank charges or penalties ( e.g. Overdraft)
Auditing & Preparation of Financial Statement:
•Assist finance manager in preparing interim and annual financial statement.
•Analyze consolidated group financial statement with previous years’ to find improvements and areas to improve (Ratio analysis).
•Assist external auditor to give an independent opinion over the truthiness and fairness of the
Financial Statements.
•Prepare cash-flow monthly, quarterly, semi-annually & year-end statement to analyze and forecast the group going concern & performance.
•Record daily transactions ensuring all documents and other necessary requirements are met as per policies and procedures.
•Manage a portfolio of more than 40 vendors and debtors, to ensure timely collection and payments following the company policies and procedures.
•Reconciliation of cash book balance with the bank statement balance to ensure the accuracy of ledger and balances.
•Assisting the financial controller to design the sales and operational expense forecast.
•Perform walk-through procedures on the clients’ policies and procedures for the better understanding of the client.
•Perform Test of Controls on the financial statements head as and when, required and report to senior auditor in case of any discrepancy.
•Perform analytical procedures on financial statements where required and report the same to senior auditor in case of variances.
•Assist the senior auditor to prepare audited consolidated financial statement.
•Perform cut off test over transactions on a sampling basis to ensure recording of the transaction in the right financial year.
•Prepare management letter of clients, to indicate controls’ weaknesses with the consequences that could arise in the future and submit the same to audit senior for the further review before submission.
•Assist the audit senior to prepare the audit deliverable- covering letter, audit reports, financial statements, management letters and engagement letters.
