Responsibilities:
•Credit Control:
•Adherence to credit control policies and procedures to minimize risk and ensure timely collections.
•Support periodic evaluation of creditworthiness of new and existing customers using financial analysis, credit reports, and other relevant information.
•Recommend suitable credit limits and terms based on risk assessment and company guidelines.
•Monitor credit limits and review credit terms regularly to maintain appropriate credit exposure.
•Credit Insurance Management:
•Manage relationships with creditors and ensure timely collection of outstanding customer accounts.
•Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess credit needs and negotiate favourable terms.
•Publish customer-wise credit utilization for the Trading Team and raise alarms where necessary.
•Create new customer credit limit request based on eligibility.
•Timely Collection:
•Support and Adhere to collection strategies to ensure timely payment of outstanding Trades.
•Monitor and analyze accounts receivable aging reports, identify delinquent accounts, and initiate collection actions as needed.
•Communicate with customers to resolve payment issues, negotiate payment plans, and handle disputes.
•Management Reporting:
•Prepare regular management reports on credit control, including aged Trade analysis, cash flow forecasting, and credit risk assessment.
•Provide insights and recommendations based on the analysis of credit data and trends.
•Prepare monthly / Qtrly management reports and support for management reporting.
•Relationship Management:
•Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, internal sales teams, and other stakeholders.
•Collaborate with sales and customer service departments to address credit-related queries and support business objectives.
•Conduct periodic credit reviews with customers to evaluate creditworthiness and adjust credit terms if necessary.

•Developed the company's credit policy after consulting with other departments like Sales & Purchasing
•Ensured that the company was up-to-date with new credit management procedures and techniques
