Liaise directly with the Project Team, and Client where necessary for all project matters, and updates all correspondence to the Project Manager.
- Prepare ITB scope of work for Bidder.
- Identify demarcation scope of work between turn-key contractor with Petronas’s contractor.
- Establish technical evaluation criteria.
- Monitor progress of design deliverables.
- Participate in Client’s gate review i.e. LDR, PIR prior ITB issuance.
- Facilitate weekly progress meeting.
- Direct interface with Client internal department such as HSE, Supply Chain Management, Operations and PEM.
- Facilitate design basis review’s workshop attended by Technical Personnel (TP).
- Attend PDMS review.
- Finalize and compile final documentation.

Involved in the following oil and gas related PROJECTS:

Project: Provision of Flowline Design Engineering Services for BOB, BRB and BOD.
Client: Talisman Malaysia Limited (TML).
Monitor progress of detailed design deliverables especially on the process report, piping general arrangement, isometrics, as well as PDMS - Piping Design Model, which converted the technical design into 3D model. This project covers 3 platforms i.e. (BOB), (BRB) and (BOD).

Project: Project Management Services for Petronas Berhad (Thru Petronas Carigali Sdn. Bhd.).
Client: Petronas Berhad.
Prepare Project Execution and Quality Plan on the project which to choose the best solution of projecting the gas platform at Nosong Area by three well-known BIDDERs.
Attend Interfaces meeting with BIDDERs (KHL-RNZ, MMHE-TECHNIP, THHE-MMC) with presences of PETRONAS representative such as Feed Design Review (FDR)-01, FDR-02 and etc. During the session, normally BIDDERs pointed out the technical clarification that they have requested during the bids as well as previous design reviews.

Involved in the following oil and gas related PROJECTS:

Project: Gina Krog Project (Previously Known as Dagny).
Client: DSME / Statoil.
Coordinate and interface with system engineering group to receive timely inputs for performance of engineering on flare boom area. The platform having 4 major areas which being monitored by different Project Management team i.e. Flare Boom Area, Major Steel Frame, Utilities Module and Processing Module.

Project: Chendor Phase 2 FPSO (Floating Process Services Operation).
Client: MMHE (Malaysia Marine Heavy Engineering).
Interfacing communication between AEM and MMHE especially on the topside engineering which being designed to be installed on the converted FSO (Floating Service Operation) to FPSO (Floating Process Service Operation). There also a communication with the marine services engineering which done by SixTee (Singaporean Company) who specialize in Marine engineering.

Project: East Piatu Gas Injection Project.
Client: Newfield (Currently Knowing as SKEI - Sapura Kechana Engineering International).
Acting as Project Manager for this project which introduce the chemical injection to the existing facilities due to insufficient utility gas which required to operate the system on the platform. While introduce the new skid, it will solve the problem once and for all.

Project: F14 & F29 Gas Development Project.
Client: Sarawak Shell Berhad.
Coordinating within multi disciplines engineer on reviewing and approval activities for SSB’s documents (Process, Piping, Instrument, Mechanical, Electrical and Structural) by preparing action / checklist which projected every progress meeting.
Handling interface communication between AEM and SSB. Normally more role played during weekly progress meeting by handle the meeting as chairman. During the meeting, most discussion being pointed out due to preparation of same packages but different execution, i.e. F14 need to be treated as detailed design engineering however on the F29 which being connecting to F23 via hub required to be treated as conceptual design.

Project: Review / Approval of Detailed Engineering Deliverable in Connection with ONGC - MHN Process Platform and Living Quarters Project.
Client: LTV (L&T - Valdel).
Coordinating within multi disciplines engineer on reviewing and approval activities for LTV’s documents (Process, Piping, Instrument, Mechanical, Electrical and Structural) since this project is more on reviewing designed documents from Larsen Turbo Valdel. AEM will endorse all documents after reviewed.

Project: Kumang Kanowit Subsea System Project for Aker Solutions Malaysia (ASM) related to Petronas Carigali.
Client: Petronas Carigali Sdn. Bhd. (Thru ASM).
Being requested by ASM due to engineering involved in the subsea area. The design is quite challenges due to materials required all must be submerged because related to subsea design. Even though the design is more or less same with the normal topside platform, but the materials are totally different.
Coordinate within multi disciplines engineer on engineering activities such as analysis and drawings. The disciplines involved Process, Structural, Electrical and Piping.

Project: ONGC’s MHSRP ICPR Process Platform Project.
Client: AGJV (AFCON Gunanusa Joint Venture).
Assist Project Engineering Manager in coordinating within multi disciplines engineer on reviewing and approval activities. Attend meeting for clarification and establishment of demarcation scope of work, internally and external i.e. with client AGJV. Also manage incoming and outgoing letters which being a formal medium from ONGC.

Prepared Project Execution & Quality Plan for the project which become a primary guideline during project execution. Minute all the meeting note in minutes of meeting and project during the weekly progress meeting with client. Assist project team on administration such as initiate training for staffs before having site visit to related platforms.

Project: Provision of Miri Design Office.
Client: Petronas Carigali Sdn. Bhd. - Sarawak Operation.

Project: Detailed Engineering Services for Bunga Tulip A Development.
Client: Talisman Malaysia Limited (TML).
Assisted Project Manager in overall management activities which related to Project Team and Client. Also participated in review of Variation Order preparation, MTO, Request for Quotation, Calculation Report, Specification, Engineering Drawings and etc. Actively liaise with Document Controller in order to ensure final product i.e. engineering drawings received by client as per schedule once get from Project Team.

Liaise directly with the Project Team, and Vendors where necessary for all project matters, and updates all correspondence to the Piping Lead Engineer.

Involved in the following oil and gas related PROJECTS:

Project: Miri Crude Oil Terminal (MCOT) Sea Loading Pump Station (SLPS) New Pump Project.
Client: Petronas Carigali Sdn. Bhd. - Sarawak Operations (PCSB-SKO).
Involved in group discussion with Process department in order to provide piping solution for the requirement of new NPSH’s pump. The existing pump required to be replaced since it was malfunctioned. Maintained Piping Class summary fill and be focal point for any changes, PT ratings required and Selection of valves by Process. Evaluated updated datasheets in house against vendor data for correctness.

Project: Variation Order for Engineering Design Piping & Mechanical Services for Palm Sembur Project.
Client: Esterol Sdn. Bhd.
Involved in preparation of debottlenecking report which mentioned the diversion of design between original scope of work against variation design due to site implementation. The report submitted to client for approval purposes. Analyse amendment or modification by using PIPE STRESS analysis to define exact location of pipe support and also the routing of pipe. Also involved in preparation of Requisition for Quotation (RFQ) for piping materials.
