• Installation, testing and commissioning of various equipment involved in the complete network of piping.
• Overall responsibility for the company’s on site supervision and technical work.
• Responsible for Planning and execution of work.
• Inspection of all incoming raw material like pipe, fitting, flanges, gasket, valves etc.
• Responsible for daily tool box talk
• Responsible for proper arrangement of equipment and manpower based on the site without delaying on daily basis.
• Complete Management of manpower & finance for all ongoing projects.
• Providing proper welding techniques as per client’s requirement.
• Co ordinate for NDT activities and witness all field test including Hydro test (HT), Dye Penetrant test (DPT), Magnetic Particle test (MPT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT) & Radiographic test (RT).
• Lead a team for testing, installation and commissioning of pipe, spools and equipment’s.
• Shutdown plant for repairing and maintenance work.
• Responsible for permit to work.
• Overhauling wartsila medium speed 4-stroke diesel engines, wartsila gas engines, wartsila dual fuel (DF) engines, deutz engines, and sulzer engines etc.
• Overhauling Turbocharger manufactured by ABB and Garrett installed for better efficiency and power output of wartsila engines.
• Overhauling and Calibration of Fuel Pump and Fuel Injector.
• Dismantling and overhauling of Piston and connecting rod assembly.
• Quality Control: Measurements of parts using micrometer, vernier caliper, telescopic gauge, dial gauge, dye penetrant examination for any crack, damage or wear etc.
• Changing parts required after quality testing.
• Pressure testing of Cylinder head by using hydraulic and pneumatic pump.
• Hydro test of cylinder heads using hydraulic and pneumatic pump at a pressure of 5kg/cm2
• Responsible for sending bulletins to customer updating any changes in wartsila engines.
• Packing and dispatch of overhauled engine parts for on site for assembly.
