As a part of Doosan’s Marafiq MED Site Project Management team, below are part of my day to day activities and accomplishments.
During Initiation, Prepared Kick-off Meeting presentation for the Project Sponsors & Client
Developed L3 & L4 project schedule for the entire project with Engineering, Procurement and construction in Primavera P-6 during planning phase.
Established the planning system, procedures and processes used to control and report the project.
Use planning systems and tools to track and integrate all parts of the project in the monitoring & control phase.
Monitoring daily activities with daily report and alarming the project management with well-developed analytical and reporting skills.
Prepared project status report weekly and monthly with progress S curves and action plans for all interfaces of Engineering, Procurement and construction to minimize further slippages.
Monitored the actual progress verses planned progress, provide exception reporting, and recommended actions.
Defined and optimized critical paths.
Participated in weekly and monthly meetings with consultant & client to review previous progress, efficiency analysis and future plans
Utilization of Different Project management Tools such as: Two Week Look Ahead plan, Daily Construction Report, Level 4 Plan for critical activities.
Technical Bid Evaluation of Final Bids of different construction sub-contractors.
Risk management, Change management, delay/ variation order/ claim in accordance with FIDIC law.
Invoice validation, Claim Analysis, and Project close out activities.
Abahsain Specialized Industrial Company (ASIC) is a joint venture between S & A Abahsain group and chart cooler services Co (Tulsa, OK, USA) manufacturing Air Cooled Heat Exchangers for the process, petrochemical and Power Industries. With a state of art manufacturing facility spread over area of 85000 sq. ft. My job responsibilities here are,
Initiating the kick off meeting with the customer at the receipt of order & managing expectations of all the stakeholders and converging it to a common goal and objective.
Formulating a precise project management plan in the aspects of planning scope, time, cost, quality resources and procurement using MS Project 2010.
Creating the WBS upto level III, establishing task dependencies, assigning and levelling resources, estimating duration and cost of project and determining the Critical path, using PERT technique.
Reviewing BOM’s and drawings
Monitoring and controlling procurement phase.
Identifying risk and minimizing it’s effects wherever possible by planning ahead.
Monitoring and controlling project schedule, cost & scope and reporting performance.
Allocating resources over multiple projects and study their availability to avoid any conflicts or resource overload using MS PROJECT
Closing the projects.
FFBL is a modern granular urea and Di-Ammonium Phosphate (DAP) fertilizers manufacturing plant situated at the eastern zone of Bin Qasim, Karachi.
Completed a five weeks internship program on a rotational plan starting from ammonia manufacturing plant to the Parts development Section (PDS)
Supervised the new staff canteen project in particular to providing chilled water supply, return, natural gas and portable water supply lines from the equipment utility section
1- 1ST PRIZE IN ALTERNATE ENERGY CATEGORY AT ALL PAKISTAN STUDENT'S PROJECT EXHIBITION AND COMPETITION 2- 3RD PRIZE AT PROCOM 2008 HARDWARE COMPETITION 3- 5 WEEKS INTERNSHIP AT FAUJI FERTILIZERS BIN QASIM LTD. 4 - ADMINISTERED THE STAFF CANTEEN PROJECT AT FAUJI FERTILIZERS BIN QASIM LTD.
