PRINCIPAL DUTIES AT SAUDI MECHANICAL INDUSTRIES CO. RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA. (APRIL 2006 TO Aug 2015):
Saudi Mechanical industries is the pioneer in manufacturing pumps, valves, bronze bars, pump spares etc which is located Riyadh Industrial Area.
Apart from manufacturing regular vertical turbine pumps & submersible pumps for water segment, SMI has plans to start the API pumps for refineries and oil & gas sector and simultaneously started manufacturing steel valves for O &G Sector.
Basically I am involved in products related to O &G, particularly for Saudi Aramco,
Sabic etc.
Responsibilities:
Sales activities: • Documentations for product approvals in Saudi Aramco, Sabic ( Oil & gas sector) etc
• Receipt of enquiries, proposal preparations through Scala ( ERP)
• Order receipt, contract review, Order acceptance and Order entry in scala (ERP, similar to SAP features)
• Work order preparation and order execution follow up • Arranging Inspection schedules with Aramco inspectors.
• Dispatch plan, stock withdrawls, Invoice preparation and Invoice closing.
• Payment follow ups.
• Aramco vendor portal access for RFQ's, PO's & other relevant documents
• Online invoicing (ERS) to Aramco through portal for contracts
Procurement activities: • Preparation of RFQ's with project specifications.
• Issuing of RFQ's to different suppliers, getting quotes & quote comparisons.
• Order placement & contract review
• Purchasing raw materials, vendor evaluation.
• Material & test report verification, certificates compliance to specifications
• Maintaining the records of all above reports.
• Exposure in LC opening, bank follow ups for documents etc.
• Follow up with forwarding agents for material clearance
• Invoicing to Aramco & other vendors.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AT SAUDI VALVES MANUFACTURING COMPANY. (DECEMBER 1999 TO FEBRUARY 2004):
COMPANY PROFILE:
SVM is located in Jubail industrial city and is manufacturing ductile iron valves, the technical known how for which is being obtained from ERHARD, Germany and also traders of KSB pumps and Sejin pipe fittings
Saudi valves is also having technical collaboration with GWC-KINKA, U.S.A for cast and forged steel valves which is being supplied to all SABIC and private sectors. The main customers includes ARAMCO, WSD, SWCC, CWC, SABIC GROUP and other private sectors.
Being a local entity we are catering the needs of the water segment sector of Saudi Arabia, by manufacturing locally DCI Resilient seated gate valves from 2" to 16", where as butterfly, check and air valves are being procured from erhard Germany.
Apart from steel valves (Ranging from ½" to 40", 150# to 2500# Rating) we have also trade tie up with Sejin valves Co and ACE valve Corporation, Korea for steel pipe fittings.
We are also manufacturing pipe line accessories such as flange adopters, couplings, dismantling joints, repair clamps as per customer specific requirements.

OPERATIONS" at Fenner (India) Ltd. Patancheru, Hyderabad (May 1998 - November 1999)
AREA: Manufacturer of V-BELTS, OIL SEALS,
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AT FENNER (INDIA) Ltd. (MAY 1998 TO NOVEMBER 1999):
(a) Responsible for operation of whole V-Belt plant which includes manpower recruitments and production activities.
(b) Reporting to General Manager and appraising him o production status relevant to planning to match the schedule adherences
(c) Day to day discussion with shift engineers and planning Engineers regarding productions targets and schedule and rejection control.
(d) Co- oridinating with sales department which enables draw effective planning schedule to meet the customer requirements in time.
(e) Worked as MR (Management Representative) during successful surveillance audit of ISO 9002.
(f) Worked as TPM secretary, which was at initial stage of implementation.
