* To control the traffic of the Front Drive of a 5-star hotel in a prime location of the city. The hotel consists of 1608 rooms, 14 Food & Beverage outlets, up to 24 flexible meeting spaces and 02 Ballrooms, with a maximum capacity of 1500
* Coordinating with other departments the information required for smoothly operating big events (up to 1400 vehicles received in a day)
* Managing a team of 11 doormen and shift leaders, conducting performance audits, giving feedback and job reviews.
* Coordinating the operations of an outsourced valet team (Valtrans), with 55 regular valet drivers on property and additional valets required as per business needs; coordinating the requisition of the extra valets with Events department and Food & Beverage outlets.
* Ensure all vehicles are received and retrieved in a timely manner.
* Dealing with complaints from different types of guests; handling special requests from VIPs (Celebrities, Royal Family Members, Diplomat and Politicians).
* Controlling the payment of the invoices of the outsourced valet company; cross-checking information to ensure charges are accurate.
* To develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships
with other departments and agencies.
* Coordinating with colleagues for any kind of requirement, application and
further requirement as per the company procedure.
* Performs a variety of duties in handling and organizing transportation and
activities for the Senior Center.
* Frequent communication with Management team regarding status and logistics of deliveries/pick ups to ensure quality service is provided to our customers.
* Ensure all deliveries/pick ups are done efficiently specific customer requests or concerns are communicated to all transportation employees.
* Under the general guidance of the Transportation Manager and within the limits of Established Emirates Palace, Kempinski Policies and Procedures.
* Oversees and directs the smoothness and efficiency of the Palace and Transportation Department while acting as liaison between Management and guests to ensure maximum guest satisfaction.
* Prepares an effective transport schedule, ensuring all has been given copies 48 hours before any amendments are made.
* Responsible for further training, skills development, performance assessment, and discipline of employees.
* Have a strong sense of customer service and satisfaction for both internal and external customers.
* Conducts regular inspections for the purpose of ensuring work quality, performance and production, and assuring that staff Performance is meeting established standards and expectations.
* Supervision of employees to include: training, coaching, performance evaluations, staff meetings and disciplinary action as necessary.
* Ensures that guests are transported safely, timely and courteously.
* Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems and personal computers.
* Review files, records, and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests.
* Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions and other activities.
* Deliver messages and run errands.
* Having knowledge of PC hardware, Installing, maintaining & configuring PC’s, Laptops.
* Assemble computer parts, repair computers with damage or dysfunctions.
* Communicate with clients about the computer condition and advise proper care of computer and the best computer programs and brand.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills in difficult software and hardware problems.
* Having complete knowledge of all Microsoft Windows with troubleshooting and installations with all drivers.
* Installing, testing and maintaining a variety of personal computing, network hardware and software systems with local area network and wide area network connections ability to understand and assist in solving network server problems.
* Diagnose hardware and software problems, and replace defective components.
* Perform routine network startup, shutdown procedures and maintain control records.
* Recommending changes to improve systems, network configurations and Determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.
* Monitor network performance in order to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future
