Description: Manage the full HR responsibilities with the Operational departments.
Tasks:
Handling employee promotions, verifications, assessment and justifications
Recruitment and mobilization of UAE Nationals and expats at all levels and jobs.
Handling disciplinary procedures for Retail and STP segments.
Manage employee transfers from/to Retail and STP segment.
Meet the Managers to set the Manpower Plan and project based reviews.
Verification of set Trainings of Oil & Gas companies against the development plans.
Member in HR Job Evaluation.
Liaising with Business Partner (companies) along with C&B in order to review the departments’ structures and provide solutions for improvements / Retention.
Handling Employee Relations of Business Partners.
-Liaise with department managers to perform Training Needs Analysis and set the Training and Development Plan of the employees and ensure the achievement of the plan.
-Follow up with the training booking process and ensure all the documents are up to date.
-Plan, prepare and maintain the budget of Training and Development with Finance department.
-Approve the invoices to be paid and coordinate with Contracts and Finance departments to ensure that the payment process is fully covered and going as per planned yearly.
-Working with various training providers and evaluating their service provided by them.
- Meeting department managers to establish their Promotion Guidelines policies and procedures.
- Manage projects of introducing new Promotion Guidelines in Operational areas.
- Preparing Bench Strength Measurement reports for Supervisory employees to measure their competencies against the next grade/ Position.
- Monitor and discuss the stats of nationalization of Non-supervisory positions with department managers quarterly.
- Supporting all HR departments (Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, Training and Employee Relations) with their operations.
- Establishing and documenting HR Support policies and procedures in coordination with other HR sections.
- Conducting regular HR Communication meetings with Industrial departments’ employees.
- Coordinating with various HR sections and other departments to convey HR Policies and Procedures to employees working in operations departments through HR Communication Meetings.
- Assist in recruiting UAE Nationals as Technical Trainees.
- Participation in the Career Day of DUBAL for Hiring Nationals.
- Provide support for National Pre-Employment Courses Trainees.
- Conduct introductory meetings with National Graduate Trainees.
- Handling the promotions, checking to ensure fair selection of the candidates for promotion in coordination with Compensation and Benefits and Training Centre.
- Working on Issues Logging process in order to solve any job-related issues of employees.
- Contributing in Emergency Management Exercises to ensure effective handling of the emergencies by the management.
- Handling and controlling IT Helpdesk tasks
- Preparing monthly statistical reports of IT Helpdesk
- Involved in the demo, testing and installation of IP Telephony system
- Meeting DAFZA Clients and negotiating their needs for Telecom services in their offices within the Free Zone.
- Assisting DAFZA clients in setting up the IT infrastructure in their offices.
- Coordination with other departments within DAFZA and outside DAFZA to provide Telecom services to DAFZA clients
- Involved in enhancing the network performance in DAFZA, by replacing older network switches into newer ones.
- Involved in the preparation and installation of Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, and transfer of all configurations, mailboxes and accounts.
- Managing Backup and Recovery of DAFZA servers.
- Involved in improving IT Infrastructure in DAFZA by installing SAN servers system, and adding the existing servers to it for better reliability.
- Involved in the preparation of servers and implementation of Oracle in DAFZA
- Contributing in GITEX 2006 Exhibition to represent DAFZA IT Services.
