Unicharm Gulf Hygienic Industries is specialized in manufacturing and trading hygienic products in Saudi, Gulf and Middle East markets.
I joint this multi-cultural organization as an Executive Assistant to the Executive Director.
Part of my duties could be briefed as follows.
• Managing work schedule of Managing Director including appointments, external visits, departmental meetings, etc.
• Arranging all reservation requirements thru direct contact with travel agencies, hotels, concierge, , etc.
• Drafting letters, memos and circulars, and follow up with concerned staff and divisions to confirm implementation and execution of such instructions.
• Doing translation works of company reports and documents that requested by the Executive Director (language pair: EnglishArabic).
I moved from private business sector to work with the renowned Int'l Islamic Relief Organization as Committee Coordinator and Executive Secretary to Organization General Secretary, beside that I work as Secretary of the following committees:-
* Administrative Committee.
* Financial Committee.
* Council of Managers.
I have been working as a PA/Office Manager to the Managing Director of Al Muhaidib Building Materials Co., the biggest affiliate of the group. With its huge workforce size distributed to more than 50 warehouses and sales outlets located in most areas of Saudi Arabia, I believe that work environment in organizations like Al Muhaidib Building Materials is found to be rich and excellent. It is an ideal place to learn the essence and principles of management. In particular I have been working as Office Manager to the Managing Director, doing all secretarial duties and reporting to him directory. In details, my duties included, among others, the following:
- Preparing Managing Director's correspondence, reports and materials for presentations.
- Performing general clerical duties including mailing, faxing and filing.
- Preparing, reviewing and submitting and tracking Managing Director's expense reports.
- Answering, screening and directing all incoming calls and visitors.
- performing other duties as assigned.
Also I have been working as a Secretary to Company Board of Directors and Council of Managers, where I have to:
- Setup and coordinate meetings and conferences.
- Independently create, transcribe and distribute all board level reporting and notes including meeting agendas and minutes.
In translation, I have been doing all translation works in Arabic and English languages. The list includes different reports related to company activities, contracts and essays.
I worked as a Free Lancer with these two certified translation offices, where I did written translations in Arabic and English of various topics, including:
* feasibility studies.
* medical reports.
* contracts and court cases
