 Evaluate and ensure nursing / midwifery practice meets Hospital (MOH), Jordan organizational quality and safety standards and guidelines and participate in continuous quality improvement  Use research, evaluation, service improvement and audit findings to enhance the quality of patient care and protect the rights of those participating.  Eficient with resource planning in terms of manpower and capital expenditure.  Lead of the interview panel to process recruitment of nurses and midwives pertaining to competency and clinical skills.  Ensure optimization of resources in terms of nursing and midwifery personal, equipment across the departments.  Write reports on a yearly basis or as required of the department's initiatives, concerns and achievements for the Executive Director of Nursing.  Ensure unit compliance in terms of JCI and HMC standards with department rounds on a regular basis.  Serve as an important link and focal point between the departments of the division and corporate / top executives representing nursing and midwifery.  Member of the AMOC investigation committee that would review the cases, identified to have gaps in clinical practice and safety standards
