Freelance writing for a Saudi based magazine dealing with cultures and arts in the Middle East.
Assisted senior management with business development activities for clientele such as: Samsung, LG and Grand Hyatt Hotel. Responsibilities included serving as the primary liaison between Al Marji’ Publications and selected clients, coordination of business meetings and organizing business development events.
Assisted with proposal propositions, supported team members in pitching and securing advertising deals for creating updating weekly status and target reports documenting my progress with clients.
Collaborated with graphic designers to strategically place ads in both Family Flavours and Nakahat ‘Ailiyeh magazines. Responsible for covering stories including, book reviews, cooking and fashion spreads.
Worked on an annual production directory. I was responsible for compiling and organizing up to date information on talented film directors, actors, screenwriters as well as other local talents in Amman. This information served as a directory for film festivals and film markets around the world, which included: Cannes Film Festival and the American Film Market.
Responsible for updating and rewriting parts of the Production Services Department manual
Wrote, edited and reviewed daily news stories in the entertainment industry, conducted interviews with actors in the entertainment industry. In addition to establishing a new feature called 'Monthly Questions' aiming to gain more insight to the actor.
Responsible for writing reviews for TV shows and movies including: Human Target, The Fairy Job Mother and Sex and the City 2.
Participated in a volunteer program for people who wish to gain a more hands-on experience in the television industry. Activities included: working in the Green Room, recorded and stored Video Tape Recorders of a local morning show. Assisted on working with computer graphic screens ensuring that the correct credit captions were written which included the hosts names and guests.
