(A) Taught Modules: 1- Pharma Management: Covered regulatory affairs, strategic marketing, biotech companies and crowdfunding, mergers and acquisitions, finance, due diligence, intellectual property rights, pharma licensing, project management, strategic clinical development, and pharma industry challenges. 2- Modern Aspects of Drug Discovery: Covered drug discovery case studies, techniques in drug discovery (HPLC, NMR, Mass spectrometry, X-ray diffraction spectroscopy and Electrophoresis). 3- The Process of Drug Discovery: Covered drug targets identification and validation, molecular modelling and structure based drug design, lead compounds, HTS, drug physicochemical properties and clinical trials.
