Engage and interact with Operators and Government (CXO and Directors Level) and analyze their requirements and point out their main problems.
Develop Vision, Mission, short term plan (ex: Go to market Strategy) and long term plan (ex: Country ICT development) for different type of customers and Projects.
Invent new methodology to convince Government to adopt and implement country ICT development.
Execute and share successful cases and best practices for Strategic projects such as country ICT development, National broadband network, Fixed broadband development and Fixed mobile convergence covering all North Africa region which includes 22 Countries.
Develop new way to improve Broadband by leading Network consultancy teams in addition to adopting new tools to decrease churn and increase ARPU.
Breakthrough into customer business with new innovate profitable opportunities and on the same time expanding customer budget to implement future expansion plan
Reviewing and validating transmission POs, RFQs, RFPs in addition to the approving the transmission budget and business plans.
Providing procurement assistance for the procurement teams in Bangladesh, Zimbabwe, Burundi and Central Africa periodically and whenever needed.
Preparing, controlling and monitoring the completion of the procurement reports (ex: Management presentations, Tender, Savings, etc.)
Plan the transmission network upgrade strategy fulfilling other domains requirements (Access, Core, IT, …) achieving the following:
1. Long term capacity Submarine introduction in Zimbabwe & Burundi
2. 3G introduction in Zimbabwe).
Responsible for all transmission activities (technical and commercial) in Telecel Globe subsidiaries (Zimbabwe, Burundi, Namibia and Central Africa Republic including business case studies, network development and operations & maintenance.
Access, Backhaul and Backbone transmission knowledge (Microwave, Fiber Optics VSAT& NMS) with a multivendor experience (NEC, Huawei, ALU, NSN, Cisco, ...).
Supervise and build transmission teams in different subsidiaries.
Control and approve the transmission budget (CAPEX & OPEX).
Manage different vendors and maintain good partner relationship.
Consolidate and follow up Vodafone group submissions reports.
Monitor, follow up, control and report the transmission projects and budgets.
Forecasting the access transmission network technical requirements.
Contributing in introducing the 3G technology in Vodafone Egypt.
Responsible for introducing new access transmission equipment.
Contributing on acquiring an ISO certificate for Vodafone by the involvement in internal and external ISO audits.
Responsible for the monthly transmission performance report.
Design and improve the transmission network to meet its preset target quality objectives.
.Maintained and troubleshoot Telecom Egypt wireless local loop (WLL).
.Line Of Sight, Site survey, path calculations and path survey tools in point-to-point transmission links for Vodafone and GASCO.
