• Plan and implement “Technical Limit” process for well operations.
• Conduct “Drill the Well on Paper” sessions and pre-commencement meetings.
• Monitor daily Well Operations. Provide safe and environmentally sound drilling engineering solutions.
• Ensure technical integrity of the operations and compliance with in-country law, corporate policy, international standards and guidelines.
• Produce end of well reports for the day rate rigs, including lessons learned, NPT analysis, and optimization recommendations. Provide ad hoc programme review of turnkey drilling operations.
• Interface and coordinate with service contractors for job planning and post job analysis.
• Technical bid evaluations and reviewing service company contracts.
• Liaison with Supply Chain Management for procurement of long lead items as per drilling schedule.
• Supervise and Mentor young Iraqi drilling engineering staff.

• Planned and engineered drilling, completion and workover operations to achieve objectives in safe, efficient and cost effective manner.
• Generated and documented offshore and on-shore wells basis of design.
• Led activities to identify potential hazards and drilling problems, well design issues, pre-completion and completion design, casing design and rig selection.
• Prepared drilling case studies of specific fields and set recommendations to optimize drilling for future projects.
• Interfaced and co-ordinated with internal/external Eni departments and service contractors for job planning and post job analysis.
• Monitored daily operation and cost reports for wells and provided engineering support for optimizing operations according to company’s operating standards and procedures.

• Planned Eni Pakistan’s first on-shore HPHT well (>10, 000psi & >375º F). Well design involved Managed pressure drilling through abnormally high pressured formations by controlling ECD
• Planned Eni Pakistan’s first offshore well (85 m water depth) drilled with Jack-up rig. Actively involved in establishing the Marine base
• Contract Management for Offshore Drilling campaign
• Maintained Eni Global D & C data requirements and quarterly submission of DPR/CPR in co-ordination with Rushmore Reviews.

Field Experience as Drilling & Completion Supervisor;
• Supervised execution of drilling, workover and completion programmes in accordance with Eni HSE Standards, Codes of Practice and Procedures.
• Completed rig inspection prior to commencement of operations.
• Prepared pre-spud meetings for drilling/workover operations.

• Completed daily morning drilling reports and weekly progress reports.
